QuoteDEmerson For those wondering about ticket prices for MSG, after having 35,000+ ahead of me in the queue - I finally saw some singles at $250, $450 and most at almost $900. All of which were getting snapped up quickly. I was pretty much expecting $250 for a ticket. I've set my limit at $300/$350, and if that only gets me the absolute WORST tickets I might pass. $250 for a not fantastic

Interesting to see that in the last decade, Eric has played about 130 shows, it'll be around 150 by the end of this year. Of those 150, about 20 have been at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, 15 have been at Royal Albert Hall in London, and 10 have been at Madison Square Garden in New York. About 1/3 of the shows in the last decade at one of those 3 venues. In his career, Clapton's pla

Quotespikenyc I agree with you RollingFreak about the point they are at now. A reunion seems far-fetched, but I can see how a short run at the Sphere could be very appealing to them but especially for David. The Sphere has potiential for him to create something new with Talking Heads music. FIngers crossed! It's the perfect thing, because I could imagine David being very intrigued,

At this point, them rekindling anything for each other is enough for me. Would I love a tour? Absolutely. BUT, Talking Heads and David Byrne are people you want to see when they have something to say. David still proves that with his most recent productions. When he has a vision, he's still captivating. They'd never just do it for the money, and they'd never do a Greatest Hits/Stop

QuoteDGA35 Quotetreaclefingers Quotegeorgelicks QuoteRollingFreak Pretty cool that she's continuing to change up her set. I feel like it was a given with this new album, but just kinda shows that she's not resting on anything. Cool for European fans. It's the biggest show on earth now by far, 3:30 of show, 46 songs, 7 from her new album just released, she's on other league.

Has to be All Down The Line. Which isn't a comment on the rest of those songs, and is disappointing cause thats not really a deep cut like some others are, but its always a damn good song.

It seems more likely than not Electric Nebraska will come out sometime in the next 5 years. There's been chatter about it for awhile now more heavily than in the past, and with another BITUSA anniversary coming up and that movie that's being made about Bruce in the Nebraska years, it seems like it could happen. Or that at least this is the best chance for it to. Personally, I don

This thread took a weird dumb turn. Doxa, if you don't like Bruce then just get out of the thread. Clearly none of us are gonna convince you and I guess you accomplished what you wanted but its such low hanging fruit. So while it got some people, it wasn't even clever which I imagine is what you were going for?

Its pretty much a racket. Again, if it works for some people and moves some inventory, great for them, but in general the $25 piques my interest for anyone I wouldn't want to spend full price on, but then when you see what tickets are $25 I'm like "yeah, thats not even worth $25." I considered buying Slash tickets for LA just to get in the building and then it definitely won&#

Quotededospegajosos they should do it right there and then during the show. The song that gets most cheers wins. That woud be fun. write this down Mick. Billy Joel does this and its kinda cacophonous. Its a fun idea but I don't think it works. The most recognizable song wins, which at that point the Stones could already just pick that cause they know. You might get a few nights where it

Just caught this doc on a plane recently. Was a bit disappointed, though I guess there's only so much they can do with the footage they have from back then. Actually shocked how MUCH footage there is of Brian with them. Didn't have cameras all over in 1966, so I guess they make the most of it. Interviews and such were a little lacking. Felt like it doesn't paint an overall picture

QuoteJadedFaded I’m thinking hard about the Hollywood Bowl, buying a cheap seat, I just hate getting to that venue and the parking may cost more than my ticket! Take the shuttle from somewhere. Its like $5 to park for the night/get a ticket on the shuttle and its so much more convenient. You're in and out so much quicker from the venue!

Always maintained I think the Beatles are unequivocally more "important" (whatever that means), inventive, creative and boundary pushing/trendsetting. Everyone followed them, for years, not just cause it was fashionable but because it worked. Having said that, almost every time I would rather throw on the Stones and I just prefer them. They made great ROCK songs and probably are the bes

Sphere would be really cool. I would also kinda think maybe other key cities as he has in the past, but he's also so him that it wouldn't shock me if he doesn't want to tour at all. He seems like he might not want to and just do shows in the UK. He's a tough nut to crack, cause on one hand its realistically a big enough show that it seems like so much prep for them to just do

Very sad. The only one Jeff let stick around. Indelible sound on that band. I assume he was going to tour with them this year? Unless he was too sick. I don't think he was there the last time I saw them at MSG.

More tour info: Keen-eyed superfans could note Gilmour’s first intonations of a live series through his UK webstore, which indicated that fans who pre-ordered Luck and Strange would “get early access to future UK dates.” In his Uncut feature, which has made the rounds online via fansite Neptune Pink Floyd, Gilmour clarified that he is presently in the planning stage for a new tour, which w

I know for 20 years we've been saying "the band's got like 5 years left" but seriously, in 2024 when the two principal band members are literally 80 years old, its probably best to leave it how it is. They, at this point, TRULY can't have that much more time on the road, and if this one has to go by the wayside its for a very small amount of their 60+ year career. Don&
