I have the same feeling of "thank god we have bv and iorr" for news and everything that i think existed in Bill´s era. By the way, you think Bill is still a real hard core fan?

As i was reading the thread about the fans required for the oofficial new videos, i thought that maybe, our great bv is kind of "modern" or "nowadays Bill German", always with first hand information, direct line with the inner circle, always being able some way or the other to get in the club shows, etc. How close are you from the Stones? Please bv, give us a glimmer...

Other major rockers/artists in their league, with a similar age than Keith and Ron still are playing great. In some cases even better i think (and Jagger is maybe one in some aspects, like singing) I seen recentle Macca, really good, really playing, on the spot, Clapton, you like it or not, but he stills plays at the top of the game. He PLAYS. Buddy Guy! Man , he still blows your head. They

Do you think after this few weeks together being "rockers" Keith and Ronnie will be able to stay clear from booze? I bet is very difficult..... And that would be it with the 2013 "tour" This reminds me of Keith & Anita & smack. They just could´nt be together.

I bet Ronnie has absolutely no idea how much they have spent so long or what on earth they are planning to spend. Who is managing this with Mick? Prince Rupert is long gone....

One of the most telling articles from last months. A LOT of information. Keith did apologize in person to Mick. Keith was really f...ed up with booze on the last tour. He was a nightmare to play with He is playing better now Ronnie wasn´t that sober. Ronnie IS sober now Charlie´s back is hurting.... ¿Mick? ther is never any trouble wiyh him....GENIUS

Grrr is not for us, true RS fans. This is for the occasional Stones listener. You know: "oh, 50 years around! I´ll buy a RS record!" That is definitevely NOT us.

Doxa, you´ve done an excellent analysis of the situation, and i really agree with you in most of your concepts, but, as carlostones said, you didnt take in account the live playing, the mega tours. In MY personal opinion, Steel Wheels tour had no spirit in it, it was kind of soulless, but amazingly, both VL and B2B were GREAT, with the band playing like lions (with the exception of Ronnie), Fort

Great general confussion about DW!!! No one really seems to know who is playing what in every song. I thought the drummer in Too Rude was Woody. This is the most misterious and chaotic Stones album indeed. I am sure the reason for NOT touring was CW´S state. Mick was used to go on tour with Keith and Woddy being a mess, but not with Charlie. He just couldn´t do it. I remember a quote from Mi

I always heard that Steve Jordan played some drums in the Dirty Work sessions, the same as Woody. Did he actually made it to the final album? On which tracks? No credits in Dirty Work....

Is it possible that we get to hear, now that they are in their old age, any Glimmer Twin song with good feelings about the other glimmer twin?. They have made quite a few out of anger, frustation, etc, I can recall G. Harrison writing a song about John (all those years ago) and now Paul has done it also. Please don´t say they´ve done it already with Waiting on a Friend, since they could´nt sta

I think now we are in a different era altogether than the one when Mick actually went solo. Now it would be a giant success. I remember, as a Stone hard core fan , that i was angry with Mick going solo. I would love it now. His last performances (with U2 in New York, the grammys and the white house) were awsome. Time flies and i want to see him again before his inevitable final decline. Man,

I went to Paul Mc Cartney´s show last sunday in Montevideo, Uruguay. It was held in the legendary Centenario Stadium , where the first Fifa World Cup took place in 1930. Great show!!! Nearly 3 hours of great music , played by a very efficient band that helped Macca to shine.... Me, being not such a big fan of The Beatles altoghether, have to recognize all of Macca´s greatness, definitive influen

Macca sold 50.000 seats in 40 minutes down here in Uruguay. He will be playing in the legendary Centenario Stadium (where the first World football Cup was held) Great excitement down here. We keep waiting for the Stones.....

Nicky was great, and i think the Stones were quite fair with him. They even put out "Edward" with Nicky as a main figure in it. Also, when he was in extreme need of cash to pay hospital bills, the Stones paid for it, all this according to Dawsons book

When everybody really contributed we had Nanker Phelge. When someone else contributed further on AND requested to be credited, he was credited (Wood, Leavell; Taylor) Sometimes maybe the one who didn´t shout out clearly that he deserved a credit, was indeed left out. I would like to know exactly how the process to establish who got the credits was. Charlie never ever got a credit and he nev

I vote for Ronnie because hes done quite a few good/very good solo efforts throughout the years, with some really great tunes (ie: Breath on Me, I can Feel the Fire) that may stand out as classics. And all of this besides his work in the Faces that was , from my point of view, amazing. Remember he co-wrote such things as Oh La La, Every Picture, tells a Story, etc. Bill solo things i find bor
