QuoteDreamer QuoteCaptainchaos QuoteJimmer I know there has been a ton of negative feedback about the Stones lack of creative output in the studio the last 25+ years. And as far as the Stones as a group go, I totally agree. It is clear Mick and keith do not like each other, do not get along anymore, and do not stimulate each other creatively from a recording end like they used to way back in the 6

Quoteachilles77 I'm not at all a Dylan fan, but checked it out just for the Taylor aspect, and I have to say that this is some stellar playing from Taylor. Killer guitar soloing here with some incredibly fluent, melodic playing. Thanks for posting that. ditto, yum

QuoteTumblin_Dice_07 Well most people consider "technique" (in respect to guitar playing) to be the actual mechanics of a guitarist's playing. Picking techniques, vibrato, fret hand technique, whatever... I'm wondering if maybe you're inquiring more about his style? So far as his playing style, I always heard similarities between Green, Mick Taylor, and Eric Clap

QuoteMCDDTLC Hey all you TAYLORITES out there, don't you want to see Taylor included in this "reunion" tour? I know I do. We need to stir the pot enough for the Glimmer Twins to invite Mr. Taylor back "IN" for this special occasion... Hopefully that's already in their plans, Jagger seems pleased with his recent work with MT on: Plundered My Soul - think they woul

Quotekleermaker London 1973, 9-9, another nice one, as said before. Good groove. One of the best versions ever to my taste. I like Taylor's part from 3:57 on. for a stretched out Gimme Shelter this is up there as a contender for the best Great playing, Great sound any like this from 69/70/72?

Loving the song choices on here one thing tho - i was probably abit vague at the beginning of this but i was after his 12 best tunes that are either unreleased/demo Stones songs, or songs that the stones never touched. thought it might broaden it out a little, what tracklist for the 12, and which song version would you go for? cheers for all the posts!!

Quotetatters Quotehbwriter advance to 2:10 At the very least, we're sure to hear some very strange between-song patter on this tour. Mike says some pretty strange stuff even when Brian's not around. 5.21 is the best bit!!!!
