Currently my entire collection is in sterilite totes, but when it was all displayed, and when it is again...........The Stones have their own section, and it is all in chronological order, full band releases first, followed by all solo releases by all members, past/current, in alphabetical order by last name: Jagger, Jones, Richards, Taylor, Watts, Wood, Wyman. Those solo releases are also in ch

QuoteTaylor1 What if Brian had quit the band in 1968 and started a band with Jimmy Page and Hopkins. Sorta of like replacing Keith with Page. They’d need a vocalist. And what if frogs had wings???

Like others have said, this was the first time I'd seen the band live as well. So really, for as much as everyone laments that they miss Bill or Mick T, or Brian. I have only ever known the Stones live as the Darryl era. I've found no problems with them, but then I've nothing to compare it to, so that might explain some of us younger folks' attitude toward things. And real

Does anyone have the video of the lion walking and then standing up into the cover lion? I seem to recall that back in the day, and I used to have it saved on an old computer of mine.

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteBig Al Was Bridges to Babylon the last truly epic, grand-scale Stones tour? In terms of performance, set-lists, stage setup and show production, perhaps it was. No Security was musically as good, though it was small-scale in comparison. Licks was magnificent, with a tremendous concept, but the stadium shows from '02 onwards have lacked the grandeur of the Voodoo Loun

Juiced is one that Keef shoulda put his foot down on. But then maybe we wouldn’t have had the 3 Keef gems. Who knows. The ballads here are great. Also the first tour I saw them on, and I love the album cover. For me it’s the last time that they cared about a cover. With the slipcase too. For me, it was showing that the boys were still the kings with the Babylonian excess to boot. Great friggin st

This will be my last post on this thread, as apparently some on here feel the need to dictate what can and cannot be stated about our beloved band's latest release. I've been reading on here for MONTHS now how so and so revisits the album and still loves, lists the songs that they still find amazing, new ones discovered. I keep trying every month or so to get into this release and hop

Yes but grunge from what I’ve read was huge in England/UK at that time and were eclipsing the local bands which ticked off this guy and they recorded their landmark album as a response to grunge and it was a huge hit and cleared the way for the likes of Oasis and all the rest that came thereafter.

For me, the White Album has always been an overhyped record. One that could be scaled back to an excellent long EP or a very short LP, depending on how one looks at it. There are some most excellent tracks on it (Julia, Good Night, Dear Prudence), but there is also a bunch of rubbish. It's weird because I rarely listen to The Beatles anymore, and they were my #1 before '97. But ev

A strong acoustic Delta blues flavor colors much of the material, particularly “Prodigal Son” and “No Expectations.” Basic rock n’ roll is not forgotten with
