I’ll do a complete write up when I can. Standing in line for the shuttle to the car atm. For anyone who says that the religious experience is no more, that was not the case for me tonight!!!! And I am soooo glad. Came at a much needed time for me personally and there’s no one in the biz who creates that feeling besides The Boss. God Bless Bruce!! Great setlist too!!

Not sure why they didn't go The Beatles route and just release some collections of outtakes. Those were great at the time they were released. QuoteRocky Dijon The Beatles also added current vocals to ancient tracks for Anthology and even this past Autumn. Yes they did, and they were very open about it. I feel like - at least with the early super deluxes reissues - they were marketed as songs left in the can, at least to my memory. I could be wrong.

QuoteMKjan Aside from Ronnie Woods command performance on Stay With Me, the band and their new album lands with a thud. It's a shame, was hoping for much better. To each their own!! I love it. Listen to it at least once a day. Sounds fresh, authentic and 100000% BC. Wish I could say the same for HD.

I might give it a couple more spins as Foxboro nears, but that's about it. It's just not to the same quality of so many other newer bands these days. Whiskey Myers, Tyler Childers, Blackberry Smoke. Hell even the new Crowes sounds more authentic than this Hack job. At least I'll be assured of getting what I believe to be 4 more songs heard live - Angry, TMS, MIU, and SSOH. Tha

I swear it was in this thread, but now I can’t find it when talking about the run of big albums. Somebody mentioned that only the Beatles possibly came closest to what the stones pulled off, and I don’t necessarily agree that the Beatles were able to do that. Rubber Soul is a classic, phenomenal album. They dip down with Revolver, which I know many people hold as their best album, but for me I ’

They're not cheap these Japan-only releases, with the shipping, proxy fees, etc. It gets quite pricey, but my hope is that they become worth even more!! Really would have loved that live cd box, or the Brussels Carnaby!

Curious does anyone have any of the blu-spec CD versions of his albums or the mobile fidelity version of Asbury? If so, how’s the sound quality compare to the originals?
