Wow, I looked at the Sept. 9 Chicago show on Ticketmaster, and there are a lot of unsold seats. Shocking. Regardless of why, it's sad.

Saw a show in Chicago with this tour (my first ever) and they make time fly by. Unreal. And Bruce is a great guitar player.

Mick also does the theme song "Strange Game" for the series Slow Horses (2022-), which is starting Season 5 on Apple TV+ this summer/fall. Great show with Gary Oldman.

I am also willing to pay for a new version this excellent forum. You've got an ability to "scoop" everyone else, which is priceless.

I only did Milwaukee in the old Bradley Center, first section of the upper level, fairly close to the stage, Keith's side. I swear I felt Charlie's drumming all night in my sternum. Never felt it before or since. Very cool! And You Got the Silver gets me every time! And Memory Motel! I loved the stripped down vibe of the show.

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteBashlets Hope a new album is coming, but I doubt they’ll call it Diamond Dust unless they’re specifically marketing HD outtakes as the concept which I think Jagger would not like. It’s like admitting “ our artistic well is dry” which I don’t believe is the case Fortunately they've never repeated anything, although Fifty Licks (Keith had that title on his shoes!) o

I'll go with 1. My Girl: Growing up in Detroit, this was the first Motown cover I ever heard and instantly dug it. Still do. A lot. 2. Ain't to Proud to Beg: Both the IORR version and Love You Live. 3. Going to a Go-Go: Still Life version. Kind of all funked up!

Quotekovach I watched the documentary of Sky Stone last night, and his kids kind of came to the same conclusion with him lately, now that sobriety finally stuck after decades of abuse, he's just a normal old man now that likes to get together with family for a meal. I watched it last night also, and I agree. The old Sly looked pretty darn normal and happy, with his family around. And I

Does anyone have all the other nominees, and can you compare them? Is HD better than them, in your opinion. I know one new song by the Black Crowes, but that's it.

I feel sad for all the fans who were planning on going. Last year's shows in Chicago were tremendous. Let's hope it's just a delay, with no health issues, and they regroup for a tour sooner than later.

Quoteslewan Quoteleteyer QuoteGlimmerest Quotesteffialicia QuoteTopi Quotesteffialicia So disappointed I'm not seeing UK!! You will see London at least. Fingers crossed! Would be incredibly odd if they skipped London, it's their hometown Does 14 on Fire ring a bell? Or maybe No Filter 2017? in 2014 they skipped London because they did two shows in London in late 2013. And in 2

My daughter's family was at Finland/USA game, and she said it might have been the best game she's ever seen. She watches a lot of hockey. And the fans were all rooting for Finland, which was funny, she said.

Great time in Chicago! The first show was great. The second was greater. Heard some tunes I hadn't heard before or in a long time. Rocks Off, Shattered, Little T&A, She's a Rainbow (a little rough but who cares), in addition to the new tunes, the best of which were Tell Me Straight and Whole Wide World. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of younger fans around me who knew

I've been to 12 shows from 1975 to this year, and I kept track of songs they have played. Two things surprised me: I've heard 91 different songs. The only songs I've heard at every show are JJF, Sympathy, and Tumbling Dice.

And, for underrated singles: DON'T STOP I've loved every second of this song since it came out. On some faraway corporate "live DJ" show, they did a daily real cool thing. You could email three songs with a theme by a band, if possible. So I did: "Start Me Up" "Sympathy" from Ya-Yas (they were about to start the 2002 tour) "Don't St

QuoteLeonidP Quotedkwalika I just gave Steel Wheels a listen, and it remains one of my all-time faves, top-five even... Break the Spell is the only weak song, I think, and it's not even that bad. You're probably right about it being underrated, but really? Top 5?? It suffers from not having a classic single too - I do like Mixed Emotions, but in comparison it is definitely one of their

I just gave Steel Wheels a listen, and it remains one of my all-time faves, top-five even. It might have to do with the importance of the moment: Mick and Keith getting over the feud, the fantastic tours (with those great stage stages and the last with Bill), and some great new songs to feature on the tours. Break the Spell is the only weak song, I think, and it's not even that bad.
