Saw McCartney at Citizen's Bank Park in Philly, last week. It was my first Macca show. I was surprised when the whole audience sat down after the third song, and stayed seated until the final part of the show. While Paul was in fine voice, his band seemed to lack the punch of a Stones show. Don't get me wrong - it was a great show, but there is only one Rolling Stones.

Visit the bar at L'Hotel. They have pictures of Jagger, Lennon, and Jim Morrison behind the bar. All three have drank there.

Quotedrewmaster Ohhh man, nobody even approaches the Stones when it comes to blues-based rock and roll, and herein lies scorching proof. One of the very best tracks on Undercover, Too Tough rocks like a motherfvcker from those first snarling guitar chords and it never lets go. Just the sound of those guitars at the beginning smashes all my worldly cares to smithereens and makes me feel alive agai

Stop releasing glossed-over overproduced music, and issue the rough mixes. Have Mick sing in a lower register to eliminate the annoying nasal tone. Keith and Ronnie on rhythm guitar weaving and Taylor on lead.

Some people here are giving too much credibility to this Westerberg person. Keith has too much class to borrow a title from him. In reality, he stole the title from "Cockeyed Optimist" in Roger and Hammerstein's "South Pacific".

I flew to Raleigh and caught the Stones on Wednesday night. Although the set list was standard stadium fare, the Stones delivered with energy and sheer excitement. On Saturday some friends came over and we rented the Grateful Dead pay per view ($50 for High-Def). The band came out for an hour and played only obscure album tracks at a plodding almost dirge-like pace. They announced that they we
