Always thought that Hampton 1981 has been overrated compared to other performances of the US tour such as Phoenix a few days before. Compared to Hampton Leeds is more punchy. Even if the 1982 european was the very first time I saw the Rolling Stones live it's not my favourite time in the band touring history. Set list was always the same in both tours. Yes it was energetic, professionn

Very interesting documentary. Not a eulogy of Brian Jones. It depicts him with his assets in music and his weaknesses as a person.

Some of his masterworks with the Beatles such as Let it be haven't aged so well. They sound overproduced. Instant Karma sounds great though. As a character Spector was rather unpleasant but as a producer he was talented in the sixties.

Very interesting documentary indeed. Not a eulogy of Brian Jones. It depicts him with his assets in music and his weaknesses as a person. Stanislaus (Stash) Klossowski de Rola is the son of painter Balthus. His interview is very interesting because he was a close friend of Jones. The interview of photographer Gered Mankowitz is also quite interesting as he was very close from the Stones during

I saw him with the New York Dolls in Paris in 2006 and 2011. Great memories. Also remenber him playing occassionaly with Johnny Thunders at the Gibus club in the mid eighties. Only David Johansen is left alive.

I think my first Stones bootleg was bought at the fleemarket in Paris. "Dragon slayers" (Houston 72,great cover but average sound) or "Bedspring symphony" which is still a treat to listen to.

The 50th anniversary edition of Workingman's dead and American Beauty editon are really worth the price (3 CD for less than 20 euros) : Great mastering of the original albums and live performances at Port Chester. You wish the Stones have done the same for such a cheap price with their masterpieces of the 1968 - 1972 years.

Who cares for a deluxe release of ER when they missed the opportunity to do so with Beggars Banquet and Let it bleed. ER would have made a great EP at best.

A real musical genius. I started listening to music with some of his original soundtracks in the 70s ("My name is nobody" for instance). Still listen to them almost 50 years later. I like also a lot his CD with Yoyo Ma and the concert arena one.

Among official releases the below titles stand out : - A reality tour (2003) for a complete collection of his best songs live - Glastonbury 2000 - outstanding performance - Live at Nassau Coliseum (1976) - A personnal favorite of mine. The Station to station tour. It really rocks. - Welcome to the black out and Stage (1978) for the Low and Heroes tour - David live and Cracked actor (1974)

I received my Southampton lithograph today. Slighly damaged due to bad packaging. I wonder why Digitalstore don't use hard poster tubes for packaging considering the selling price of the product. They seem to save money on the packaging because I'm not the only one when I read the other comments.

It would be interesting to know who exactly pick the official posters. Most of the posters deisgn above are much nicer than the official ones. I particularly like Brisbane, Oslo (Munch's shout) and Rome (the horse) from 2014. I always wonder why they didn't pick the Paris Gargoyl design from last year. Hands down it would have been the best of the european tour. Alain
