QuoteDoxa Quotetreaclefingers QuoteDoxa Europeans love the Stones. Stupid Americans do not. But so what - there will be not world for any longer in 2025 - Trump and Putin will guarantee you that! - Doxa Doxa! It may be the holiday season, but no drunk posting! So what. Let us bullshit now. Why have the Stones also been so big on opening acts? They have always used them and some times more than one and many if not most times they use big name opening acts. I mean why have Journey and George Thorogood play before you? It always seemed like an awful idea. You have fans sitting around listening to other music while many are getting high and drunk, after hours of music often makes th

Quotetreaclefingers Quotestanlove Why are they selling tickets half a year in advance? Makes no sense ( especially at their ages ) to me and they didn’t used to do that. At their ages it seems like a good chance that the tour won’t even happen. Love your contributions. You didn’t answer the question.

Weak boring song as expected. It’s cringe to me that the Beatles could just never let go of the past. Go to a McCartney concert and chances are you will see video references to the Beatles throughout his concert. It’s been 50 years. They were all like that to. They also all had the need to constantly tell you ever little thought they have about Beatles to. When one dies the others actually feel t

QuoteMichaelLassen QuoteBashlets wyman will not fly. End of story Fear of flying can often be cured in a single session (I’ve done it s couple of times) so that wouldn’t have to be an issue if Bill decided he wanted to go. So you had to be cured of your fear of flying more than once?

Quoteschillid As a huge fan or before and after pictures this drives me nuts. It’s idiotic and it’s a constant and I am not blaming you. Why would someone make a picture like this but not show what the exactly location looks like now? What is the point of showing everything else as it looks today but the exact spot is what it looks like 40 years ago. I just see the point.

QuoteNashvilleBlues I get racist/sexist vibes from what he said, if you don't, that's fair. It could or could not be racist or sexist. In todays world if something could be racist it sexist than it must be racist or sexist. This is just one more example of it.

Quoterollmops I don't know why Jann ommitted Chuck Berry. Chuck influenced all the rockers that made the cover of Rolling Stone mag. Chuck was very intelligent and articulate. Chuck is The Man as far as Rock and roll is concerned. Rockandroll, Mops No he wasn’t. His songs were simplistic music fair the body not the mind. He is one of my favorite artists but not very complicated.

Quoteyeababyyea Quoteroller99 Exactly. I don’t consider Tattoo You to be an album of new material, a portion was leftovers from Some Girls. I can't get behind this way of thinking. All songwriters have unfinished songs in their backlog they are planning to use sometime in the future. Some Girls was released in 78 and Tattoo You in 81, with same logic if The Stones are using songs fr

QuoteNilsHolgersson QuoteStoneage There is an interesting contrast between the private nature of Jagger's lyrics and his refusal to talk about anything private in other media. I don't think his lyrics are ever actually private, he always makes up a character when he writes a song. It's almost never actually about his own life. Jagger has pretty much made it clear that he doesn

It’s a song on an official album. Fits in with the rest of the album. It’s a groove song. Way more about the groove than thr lyrics. Maybe kind of like Hot Stuff in that regard.
