Cool...I like these intimate concerts and good to see that Ronnie still does them, I love his rhythm guitar. When I started playing guitar I was attracted by his rhythm guitars, I spent nights trying to imitate them.

For me a great song, but I find the whole VL to be a great album. VL in my opinion is much better than many albums from the 70s.

Beautiful lyrics, flawlessly played by Mick, Ronnie's solo is so beautiful in its simplicity because there is so much soul in that solo. The video explains the text and the references...

QuoteSomeTorontoGirl QuoteTestify I don't get it... why shouldn't Ronnie be okay? Am I missing something? It seems that the tour was delayed because someone in the Stones camp has an injury - no mention who it might be - and it’s hoped that the tour will be rescheduled once the person is recovered. Pics of Mick have also shown up recently, and it has been noted that he doesn’t seem t

@Doxa It's always interesting to read everyone's opinions, even those you don't share, however I wonder....if the inspired phase ended some time ago for you, why are you so interested in this 3d? It's quite curious. I think instead that the most creative phase of the Stones ends with Let It Bleed, then they have continued to make good albums to this day. There isn't a b

Do you remember when EXILE came out how the press and critics reviewed it? Not like a masterpiece, on the contrary... It has gained fame as a masterpiece (even a bit controversial) over time, thanks mostly to its history. Certainly it was the worst mix of the year.

QuoteRip This Quoterollmops Ronnie Wood is a great musician. To make it at that level and stay at that level for so long is not based on luck. I don't agreed on emphasing the "luck" element in long, competitive and uncertain careers in any field. Successful individuals push the element of luck in the careers not to sound arrogant and it is their choice. For me when i look at s

In my previous post I messed with the quotes, so it seems reading that I am being attributed words that I did not write (my fault). Or the Stones were lucky to have him involved at some point. It's an understatement to talk about luck, Mick pushed for him to leave the Faces who had come to an end anyway. Luckily things never happen... luck can only help. I add...At the time according

Quoteslewan QuoteHairball No offense to Ronnie, but his songwriting capability and musical ideas in general leaves a bit to be desired imo. Sure there are a few gems throughout the decades ( with the Faces, the Stones, and solo), but those gems are very few and far between. His main focus since quitting drugs and alcohol a decade or so ago has been painting and his art career, though even his p

However I believe that in some cases of other artists it could also be true, but not for R.S. You just have to listen and watch, both Keith and Ronnie never play a song the same way, not counting the mistakes. Then really imagining that there is someone under the stage, playing Keith's parts makes you laugh, Keith starting a solo and then suddenly stops and greets someone from the audience

i admit i enjoyed reading all this bullshit, i mean...Keith its true he has arthritis and it's notorious, he feels sometimes and has limited his guitar parts a lot, ronnie doesn't have arthritis, i've seen a his recent concert in here he played in a theater dedicated to Chuck Berry and there was not even a second guitarist, some songs he played and sang without a band.

It doesn't remind me much of the Stones in this cover, I also struggle to match it to the Stripped version. Ronnie's style is obviously always the same, but I find them two so different versions... maybe one is electric with only one guitar, while the second is acoustic with two guitars and in my opinion it's a more classic version. I like both though...
