QuoteCygnus02 I remember this show well. It was my first chance to see the Stones in concert. One of the smaller venues on this tour (16,000+) as a majority of the shows were stadium. I remember reading that one in ten people were able to get tickets due to high demand. I was able to get two 6 or 7th row seats right beside the cherry picker. Of course everyone was going wild when Mick Jagger

QuoteLeonidP I love the slow bluesy numbers. This one is great. Along w/ Jump On Top Of Me, they were the best 2 b-sides for that time period. I don't mind the tracks like Fancy, Cook, and Wish I'd Never, but I don't go out of my way to listen to them either. Another nice Voodoo B side is I’m Gonna Drive.

This song is obviously known in our circle, can’t imagine it would have great appeal outside it. Sticking with my opinion from last January. Pretty sure this song was one of my cuts in the reduce ABB discussion

QuoteStoneage Okay, so you all think Keith's band here is great then? You like the loud, boom-boom, drums and the wandering bass. And all the quite primitive arrangements? Well, good for you then. Personally, I can enjoy the odd number here and then but I can't stand watching the whole gig. I think for this release I prefer the visual over the audio. That T&A is just like you s

Quotefloodonthepage Well, I'm a sucker I guess. I'll buy the single disc. Sure I have it, but the book-style packaging (ala the Talk is Cheap reissue) looks good and I haven't been spending nearly as much money this year, with no concerts to attend. Although, it's a just a remaster? Not a new mix? Hmmmm....maybe I won't. It really doesn't make much sense I suppose

lol I have the 1992 box set: CD, booklet and VHS recording....and the really nice sounding Mistral Italy bootleg which may have prompted Keith's people to release something in the first place. Think I'll just go digital download the music to compliment the bootleg...

Would have been nice if Keith was asked about Coming Down Again for the deluxe release. Was that also a Swiss hospital song?? Drying out can bring more introspective stuff IMO. Interesting Jagger's take on unfinished songs for deluxe versions like All The Rage and adding new lyrics. To be 77 and bang them out is a borderline miracle, the man is amazing...

Similar to Amarant’s Run Rudolph post if possible one side has a different refrain that I’ve never seen available. Should have been included in Some Girls deluxe IMO. Fingers crossed...

QuoteHairball 13,107 sales...doesn't take much these days to make the charts and specifically have a number 1, and I'd bet the members on this site are responsible for 90% of those sales! Such a low number it seems almost meaningless, but hats off to the Stones anyways - Mick and Keith surely did their share of promo work to make it happen! Maybe if and when there's a brand n
