Releasing a New álbum the same Day that Taylor Swift releases his New album doesn't seems very clever in terms of press. I know TS fans and PJ fans are different crowds, but the press is the same

England should release a new "Downton Abbey" and "The Crown" in order to gave meaning to a meaningless way of ruling, we're in XXI century. Glad the Stones didn't get involved. British monarchy and all those knights and earls and medieval stuff and the joke of the world. Hope Scots break free from this nonsense soon

Such a sad new, Procol and the Stones are tje soundtrack of my life. For those that havent heard Procol, go and listen the whole catalloge. A true treasure. Amazing lyrics, great songs and musicianship, and one of the most beautiful singing ever heard. Homburg, A salty dog, As strong as Samson, Gary's ouevre is full of marvels. A sand so white...and sea so blue: no mortal place at all. Sad

The same thing happens with "classical" music (in fact, music written on paper). The so-called classical music of the 18th/19th century (from the baroque to the late romantic period) is so good and great that it is still played and studied. But keeping it constantly present in repertoires and recordings prevents new music from developing its path. There was a break in the 20th century,

Songwriting credits is a hard issue. If you don't know about it, read about the legal dispute between Matthew Fisher and Gary Brooker on the song A whiter shade of pale. We all love Brian's slide on No expectations, but THAT Hammond melody on AWSOP is what makes the song. Is the main tune, the mood, and all that. Those chords were already been set by Brooker, but the organ part made the

Start me up. The snare on beat 1 still sounds surprising. I have played with lots of drummers, and they never played that intro right. Is physically wrong, rock and roll snares must be on times 2 and 4, but that's the magic. Only Charlie.

QuoteMathijs This is just bloody amazing! I had a discussion with a 1972 tour connoisseur a month ago were we agreed there was no confirmed image of the Dallas rehearsals. Two weeks later it was confirmed that the pictures of Keith in a studio with the Gibson Firebird were actually from the Dallas Rehearsals, and now we get this footage! Fantastic! Keith plays a 1965 Firebird, Taylor a Gibs

About Macca He is clearlly audible at the end of Dandelion, at least to me. Both he and John of course in We love you singing background vocals. Those long melismatic "aaah" are pure Sgt. Pepper's. There's a picture of Charlie and Macca, Charlie on drums and Macca with a pair of sticks. Only Charlie has earphones, but Macca is not posing, he loks concentrated. Maybe the add

Love the reiusse! And so nice to hear Nicky Hopkins on almost all of Disc 3. Is he credited on the book? Officially in "Dogs" Pete played piano, but to my ears always was Nicky. And in take 2 you can hear him creally. Also in Melancholia, Glow girl (harpsichord), Shakin all over, Little Billy, etc
