How Ron Wood’s New Barbarians Saved the Stones Ear-to-Ear Violence Michael Dregni Reelin’ and rockin’: Wood and Richards share the spotlight at the Barbarians’ three-mic stand. Quotematxil Undercover would be a great album without "Wanna Hold You", "All The Way Down", "Too Tough" and "Must Be Hell". The greatest songs on it are "Undercover", "Tie You Up" and "Feel on Baby". From DW, "One Hit" is great, "Sleep Tonight" is good, "Winning Ugly" should get rid of the 80s

Maybe you can find more info here: Note: it’s spelled ‘Micawber’, maybe that’s why you didn’t find any info.

Quotenankerphlege Even on ole micawber? I could see some of the new teles and others like the darryl jones guitar tele but the sound it produces to me is amazingly identical to micawber and malcom. Unless Keith recently changed it. Btw did he mention the value of the pentometers in keef's tele? The wiring on all Keith's Tele is plain simple modern wiring with 250K pots. Switch is w

Quotepartnerincrime Hi Mathjis pls ask Pierre about Micawber's wiring. thanks ciao m. QuoteMartinB Does Keith use the humbucker on Micawber? Yeah, we need more details about Micawber. perhaps Malcolm and Sonny too. since the pickup-slector-switch is nearly always seen in the bridge position... does he use the Neck+Bridge combo? is it a standard 3-way switch? or is it turned aro

My fat Telecaster has a humbucker neck pickup and 5 position switch. To "blend in" the humbucker I keep the switch in the middle or back one spot toward the bridge. Trust me, this out of phase type sound is no recreation of Keith's Micawber, but fattens up the sound a tad.

Quoteklrkcr Thanks guys,- another question- the pickup switch on micawber seems to always be in the bridge position,- is it wired in reverse? eg, the switch in the bridge position is actually the humbucker? Nope, it´s very rare to hear Keith play with the humbucker pickup on Micawber, Malcolm or Sonny these days. Sometimes he plays solos on tumbling dice with the humbucker on Sonny.

Quotewetland10I don't think it is legit. Well maybe not - But anyway I'm not ready to spend $10,000 on a single guitar and, if I was, I'd rather spend it on a true vintage guitar... The switch is black instead of white, the humbucker is upside down and no wear pattern above the humbucker - so indeed there are some differences with Keith's.
