Quotewith sssoul meanwhile ... thanks for the interest in the setting-Keith-on-fire incident! like i said i think it was in 1983, when Keith was on his way to or from that Jerry Lee Lewis tribute show, and he and Chuck crossed paths at an airport. Chuck dropped a lighted match down Keith's shirt (or maybe a lit cigarette) and although it probably wasn't deliberate ... it is ... st

Quotewith sssoul>> one time he gave Keith Richards a black eye when Keith went up on stage to jam and Chuck didn't recognized him. << the Department of Historical Accuracy is pleased to have this opportunity to note that that statement conflates two different stories: Chuck threw Keith offstage in 1972 for playing too loud; it was a different occasion when he punched him in

QuoteinopengWhy would anybody want to humiliate someone in public like that? Very bad form on the part of Chris Jagger. He should have acknowledged his resemblence to his brother, understood that his accent probably furthered the confusion, and gone on with whatever he was doing. Maybe yes, but the ""die-hard Stones fan" that I, Mr. Huckabee, am!" then probably isn't

Aah, thanks for the info. I really like AC/DC they're different in a way. And very different to the Stones, too. Of course, their music will NEVER EVER be just a bit as awesome and overwhelming to me as the Stones are, but still, they're very good listening too. I like their sound.

Quotelynn1Remember when Keith "fell" off a ladder at home in CT and cracked a few ribs? Yep, I've been figuring something along those lines. Whose black humour is this? *lol* ><

QuoteEdith GroveQuoteCharliMoonQuoteEdith GroveEverything's allright in the critic's section? Uhm, what do you mean? Mick's response to a fan yelling "Let the good times roll!" during El Mocambo. Oh really? Seems I've never understood this part. Thanks.

Quotedjango Here's a little story the owner of the art gallery told my wife. An old nun saw the the painting in the shop-window the other day, went in and told the owner that she really can hear the music by looking at this picture. And I think she's right. I can hear SMU. Hmm..that's right! Although I rather hear GOMC.

QuoteroosterHot Stuff is fun!! Yep, and Star Star is, too! I actually can't understand why there are so many people out there who can't stand LYL or, at least, don't care that much for it. I mean, it's true, Mick sounds a little shitty on the album at times and it's not an album as great as Ya Ya's is (which is not possible anyway, Ya Ya's is the best live

QuoteElmo LewisNice humor on the El Mocambo side, especially the introductions. The introductions! Love them! I think best is: "Bill Wyman just wants to take photographs of women's legs!" LOL

QuoteBärsDid Keith always read a lot or is it a hobby in his older days? As far as I know, he's always been reading a lot, even when he was a child. I don't seem to find that article or whatever it was where his mom obviously said she remembered Keith as a 10 year old boy or so, reading every book aóut America he could find, or something like that. I absolutely LOVE it, that Keith

Okay, I respect everyone's own opinions and would never dare to disregard them. But personally can't agree to the reasons given for "getting tired of Keith" 1) His endless recycling of old quotes "Mick is vain" etc., say something new for god's sake. Well, do you fancy a guy who changes his opinions and sayings every second to the other just as it fits him?

QuoteBingoQuoteCharliMoonI really like this ad. Keith looks SUPERB and the lightning is perfect (although I doubt nothing's been played around on this photo with Photoshop or something afterwards. ALL photographs are tinkered with, especially if they are going to be used in an Ad campaign. These photos are identical, except for the way it's cropped and tinkered with. The cup of tea

I wish I could take photos like that, it's a geaogeous add!) And although I little could imagine Keith doing this when we first heard he might do it, I wasn't against it either and I

Hmmm, The best guitar solo in a song I ever heard up to then, was when I listened to Get Year Ya Yas Out for the first time in Sympathy For The Devil! The 2 soli that were in this particular live version simply struck me down from the first minutes I listened to them and they have ever since! The Sympathy solo on the studio version of Beggar's Banquet is marvellous, too. I also love
