QuotedrbryantThis is a studio track to be treasured as it is. I can imagine Keith playing the Leslie'd guitar line, but I can't see Chuck replicating Nicky's piano or Blondie and crew coming close to the heavenly back up vocals. Man, what a great track. At first I interpreted that as If you considered Blondie, Lisa, Bernard, Chuck and Keith to be modern technology. *lol*

I love the Stones and there's nothing anyone can do about it. However, even though they're the greatest for me, there certainly are things I don't think are neccessary and ideas that I don't like so much. It's useless to agree on everything that shines a positive light on the Stones just because it's the Stones and all posters have agreed to it so far. Gotta stand

Interesting, but I can only find Vol 1-4 from a 1972 tour (Work Sucks. Let's Go On). That's fine, but where can I find the Rotterdam show? Edit: Okay, forget my question, I found the Rotterdam show. So, it's not from Oct. 13th but from Oc. 24th? Good. Thanks, Charli

Thank you very much! I just downloaded the first disc (it's a ZIP file, isn't it?) and realised the ZIP only contained the Intro. When I try to excerpt it, I get an error message? Does anyone else have this problem? Charli

Hi, First of all I have a question: Is there any difference between "Big @#$%& Blues" and "@#$%& Blues"? I've seen both titles up recently. Second, I'd love to get my hands on the @#$%& Blues 3 DVD thing (as far as I know there is one out there), so might it be possible for anybody out there to upload it? Or, what would be even better, as my computer works real

QuoteRichardHurrah Pardon me, but I'm french speaking, what is B&P ? Thanks a lot Blanks&Postage. Kind of exchange thing. You send 3 blank CDs/DVDs to the person who's willing to copy the stuff for you, along with a return mailer with sufficient postage (so the person who copies the whole thing for you doesn't have to pay money for blank CDs and postage, you know).

QuoteEdward TwiningDefinitely amongst the best music the Stones have ever recorded. Could a track like this be recorded today with modern technology? Never! That's not possible. Nowaday's technology and - well, in the case of Let It Loose it's not an improvement *lol*- is much too "perfect" to record something that shall sound like Let It Loose. I mean, take CDs for e

I only got two darn things to say on Let It Loose: MICK'S BEST VOCAL PERFORMANCE, EEEVEEER!!! One of the very few songs that make me cry EVERYTIME I listen to them! There are some song of the Stones (no other band has the effect on me) that made me cry the first time I heard them and still do sometimes, the best examples are Sister Morphine, Memory Motel and Let It Loose. But Let It L

And Madame, I was thinking about PIB, too, when I read "they painted it red" and it's sorta fun Keith referrs to it in the next line. Thanks for posting this interview, I enjoyed it so much. Hmm, very nice. I don't know the whole movie Performance, but have seen some scenes, among them were scenes with James Fox and Anita, and I think they were great together, so this would be interesting to watch. Hope the movie will come out here, too!

On Ruby Tuesday, he only played the piano when they were performing it live in the earlier days, right? So, he doesn't play it in the studio on Between The Buttons or what? However, I love him playing the piano. He plays erally good, and I also remember him saying "When I'm home I sometimes try a little Bach, which I know I'm useless at, to distract myself" or somethi

Quotewith sssoul>> Skiing in the alps last week I was wondering if the Stones ever did ski << in fact Keith has said more than once that he took up skiing when he lived in Switzerland in the mid-70s - yep, that Keith in those mid-70s. i think to this day no one's sure whether or not he was joking. I honestly don't think he was joking. QuoteBritneyWhere's that

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture! I always have! I like libraries and his is a very beautiful one it seems. And he's so many great books in there, e.g "The Old Man And The Sea" and "20.000 leagues under the sea" etc. It's so nice to see that he does seem to live like you and me when he's at home. And that he reads a lot, of course. That scores an enormo

Quotewith sssoul"I made that metallic noise at the beginning of the song with a knife against a bicycle wheel. I supposed you could do it with a spoon. But it wouldn't sound as good as it does with the knife. Kids, don't try this in your own homes; these men are trained professionals." - Keith Richards, 1989 quoted on NOW I'll try! Thanks for that bit, with ss

Okay okay, I guess I was just searching for some darn excuse for not getting that it was Ronnie and not Keith and therefore miserably failing. *sigh* *lol* Btw, Ronnie's (NOT Keith's! ) response to Mick int

Quotewith sssoulit's definitely Ronnie who says "old bum's-rush Jagger" and isn't it Mick who says "where's Billy? Billy's gone". Keith wasn't talkin too much that night, apparently - just playing his elegant ass off. Oh gosh, what Keith fan am I? I cannot even distinguish between Woody's and Keith's voice on the LYL album! Oh my, I
