what is nice about summer romance is that you could mix that with when the whip comes down and clash city rockers and holiday in the sun or i wanna be sedated and they all fit nicely together... while 25 yrs ago the stones were scoffed at for trying to sound like the new groups of the time, it is their music that really sits well with the others... i always liked ER for its' mixture of f

it's not that fenway would suck for the show, because it would... there is no tailgating for concerts at fenway...there is no fun unless you get a couple of beers and steaks under the belt with a decent bootleg cranking...no can do at boston...

brian was the original flambouyant rock and roll star...hendrix, dylan, morrison they all wanted a piece of whatever brian had...i think that if anyone in that band had glimmer, it was brian...i think that aftermath is brian's best work...i know that the slide is basic but it is so out front on doncha bother me...another great what would've happened if....

cafaro beat me to it... sweet black angel is carribean based for sure...i consider it to be reggaeish, just as luxury with the back beat, what else could it be? feel on isn't so much reggae as it's dub with the rolling bass and drums, the clash took this to a great level...

the clash-cape cod colesium 1982- topper wasn't with the band then but mick and joe tore off the roof tom petty and the heartbreakers 1981 boston garden-1997 great woods- this one ties because in 81 he was very good but in 97 he was even better allman brothers 2004 tweeter cntr/mansfield- it poured like hell out in the parking lot but the show was three hours of guitar heaven worst

cafaro, no i didn't go to the parade, boston sidewalks are still a mess and i don't deal with crowds very well...just now in a holding pattern for spring training, hate that lull between seasons, what with no hockey being played...

if i may... the nfL(AMERICAN FOOTBALL) is a way of life. i am a patriots fan and have been for the last thirty yrs...we follow our teams every move on and off the field... between trades, the draft, and free angency this takes up alot of time...we second guess the coaches (except for bill up here in new england)...on any given sunday the quarterback goes out there with close to 120 offensive pl

hound dog and mark...have you seen the allmans recently? their shows are fantastic...warren haynes and derek trucks always tear the roof off the summer shed....the dickey betts thing almost parallels the mick taylor issue with the stones... rave on-buddy holly unsatisfied- the replacements brand new cadillac-the clash fortunate son- creedence won't get fooled again-the who

i don't think that people believe that the stones cannot produce good work, i thought that bridges was a great album...people will call this new album mediocre(sp?) no matter. i believe that the public just doesn't have the interest in the group that it once held...if you were a teenage girl or boy would you want to look at some ashlee, justin, linsay combination...or the sixty yr old,

i wouldn't say that the stones are on the spot with this album...as someone has pointed out their legacy and body of music speaks for itself...i think that the stones want to believe that their music still may have something to say...mick is often made fun of because he tries to bring a freshness to the stones sound and often keith seems to rebuke these efforts, refering to them as trends.

taylor/wood...wood/taylor...i'm not sure which one i like...ooohhh the choice of deciding which era of stones is the best is just so overwhelming i feel the need to let everyone know how i feel...who gives a pigs fart about something that happened 30 yrs ago? taylor was a good guitar player both in the studio and live...but let me tell you a little secret, he isn't coming back...christ

i like stanley booth's book the best...he was pretty much in the middle of the 69 tour and had a good eye for details...i like the sections of the stones roaming around L.A. before the tour started, going to see chuck berry and the flying burrito brothers at the clubs...the practice sessions and the feeling of an unawareness on the stones part that they were in the midst of something that w

best? forget that noise the number one stones song is satisfaction and only two people got that concept...as soon as you hear that dirty fuzz opening you know that it is the rolling stones and so does the person next to you...that is what makes a band great...play let it loose and most people that have only a passing interest will say huh? play satisfaction and the joint will be rocking...everyo

ilove charlie's drumming when they kick 100 yrs. ago into high gear... i think that winter has some of jagger's best visual lyrics when he talks about the lights on all the xmas trees in stone canyon... as far as filler goes...what exactly is filler anyways? silver train, star star, dancing, heartbreaker are all solid rock and roll tunes with great playing by mick taylor...hide your lo
