i've gone to a few sox games this yr and i was having a hard time visualizing where the stage would go and how folks under the grandstand would get a clear look...will the monster seats be available? if so that means you'll be looking down on the band from behind, i think. i'm hoping for a couple of fleet shows this winter. plus the red sox got the win last night....

fsw- what i mean by weak is thin production sound, lack luster playing, lack of direction... workingman and amer. beauty stand out because they totally changed the sound and direction the the group...blues for allah and shakedown street under produced...go to heaven and terrapin were over produced with strings and a slick sound...built to last and mars hotel, no spark just going thru the motions.

babylon is a strong album, it showed that mick still had his ear out for what was happening on the airwaves...much like the groove on miss you...the album has everything from flat out rockers, reggae, motownish soul, ballads...there has never been a band out there that can put out these different styles on one album and have them flow so well...i love the fat honking sax on flip the switch...th

ronnie has more jagger-richards-wood credits than taylor or jones...it's not that ronnie has been doing nothing, he put together that show and has been seen on stage with more than a few bands...i'm sure that he keeps busy with his art work and shows...he has more than likely gone to the clinic to get a clean bill of health for the up coming tour and i'm sure that with a problem

while at work the other day i was chatting up one of my co workers and he was talking about the school of "hard knocks(knox)", so me being a smart ass said and "dirty sox". he just said "isn't that a great album...", so we wasted half and hour arguing over which was a better album let it bleed or abbey road, but were both in agreement that monkey man is one ba

back in the mid 80's i was living in california and was pretty much dead broke most of the time. i would wander into the local waldenbooks and read booth's true adventures, though then it was dance with the devil in hardcover. i would try to read a chapter until someone would tell me to move on...i would put booths writing up there with fitzgerald in description...i especially love the

kyle/monkeyman are the same person? hummmmm.... i won't be going to the rolling stones revue this time...at least for now, i generally get pissed, like everyone else about the ticket prices. alot of decent acts are charging lower prices...tom petty and the black crowes for $65.oo? i think that's a good price for two very good bands...then i'll start reading the set lists and rev

someone once said that 8tracks were the best for them because of sound quality and when you popped them in they would literally play forever...no flipping over like albums or casettes...they refered to them as the infinite loop...i recall owning a pink 8 track of sticky fingers with the fade out and in during sister morphine...aahh the seventies...good times....

best produced or worst produced, all i know is that mean disposition is a nice rock and roll tune and would be a great number to play onstage...it doesn't seem to be that difficult of a song to play and i think it would really get the folks shakin their tail feathers...

i think that the direction of ghs was of relaxtion in a sense. if you consider the whirlwind lifestyle of the stones from 69' to 72', it would seem that they were trying to unwind from something they had created. maybe they just stepped back and decided to try and take a different approach with their sound...plus it would seem that a drugged lethargy had seeped into the music. dancing
