Hendrix plays on Still's 'Old Times Good Times'. Got it on the great CSN box set. They were buds, they jammed. What's not to believe?

Brian was a bloated, girl-beating louse. He couldn't handle fame. He'd be obscure if alive today if that builder didn't drown him.

I'm a guitar player too. Nice tab there ! Yeah, he's not there in Flash at all. I remember leafing through a tab book (I play by ear, but learnt to read tabs) for Rock'n'Roll Circus. There was only one guitar part for JJF!

I have 2 versions, one sounds way more cleaned up & produced than the other, though Keiths vocals are way back in the mix.

You can't even trust the newspaper sometimes. I still have a clip announcing their 1992 tour to promote their 'new album, Flashpoint'.

Speaking of not hearing Bian, I can't hear Brian's guitar on JJF, PW or YCAGWYW in the Rock 'n' Roll Circus CD or DVD. His slide is out front on NE, and his shakers (snicker) are there on SFTD.

It's sort of like a one-song-rock-opera-type thing. There is no 'video' for it per say, it's all part of the movie Performance. Without seeing the flick, the song don't mean dick.

I don't think they sound all that similar. Mr. D has more structure on one chord, Cocaine's main riff is simpler but on two chords. The melodies in either song are quite different, too.

Brian would be as big a star, figuratively and literally, as Mick Taylor. Maybe John Phillips. As famous as Keith? Er... no. Keith is famous as Mick's right-hand man & songwriting partner. Almost as famous as Mick, but not quite. Mick, as we all know, is the most famous rock star in the galaxy.
