Ahhhhhhhhhhhh Ken Griffey Jr.......if ever there was to have been an heir apparent to the HR throne....It's so sad the terrible string of bad luck that he's had over the last few years, and I was so happy for him this year to have made it almost the entire season. I have always enjoyed watchin him play and take that sweet swing. There are not a lot of players whose swing elicits such

Love the song and the album, which doesn't seem to get the respect it too deserves. A modern day masterpiece.

Has anyone heard any more rumors about the possibility of them reuniting?? Haven't heard anything about this in a while, and I'm wondering if now it's been pushed back with the Van Halen & inevitable Zep tours coming.

Mickschix, who exactly are you referring to that you never liked? Bonds?

Interesting that Bonds was mentioned in the same scandal and what did he do? Hide behind his larger than life ego and withdraw from the media even more than normal, denying it all from day one. Howard has been touted as the next greatest thing, el natural. I remember reading that article last year when he hit all those HRs and was being tested like every other week. I still believe AR

I am not saying that it's OK to cheat if you admit it, Stoned, I'm saying that Giambi at least was willing to go out on a limb and take a stand against a very bad thing that he had done in his baseball career. I think he owed that to the fans and to the thousands of little kids who looked up to him. Because ultimately all of these players are role models, and sure as sh-- I don't

ROCKMAN, that is by far the lyric that hits the nail on the head for me. Right on! Here's some more: "I can feel your tongue on mine Silky smooth like wine I'm living with those memories That's all that's left of you and me" "Slipped my tongue in someone else's pie Tasting better ev'ry time He turned green and tried to make me cr

I think anyone who thinks Bonds is innocent has been smoking way too much friggin crack! Take a look at him now vs. back when he was on the pirates. You mean to tell me that's all form working out?! No FIN way! I believe him to be the biggest cheat in the game, and I have absolutely no respect for the man. His record should never stand. All Ruth was jacked up on was hot dogs and alcoho

Saw them in Hartford. Was OK, certainly not the Stones, and when the Stones is all you've seen for the last 2 years, I can easily say I was a bit let down, as was my wife, who's not even that big of a Stones fan!

Y'know Ian Astbury's voice is so recognizable, and by far, is one of my favorites in all of rock. I was actually driving around on lunch listening to High Octane Cult and it made me think.....did anyone ever go see the reincarnated Doors with him on lead vocals? I wonder if there are any boots from these shows.

WOW PayPay - I would have to say that your dislike of Ruby Tuesday rivals my dislike for Rambler, both of which are in great minority opinions around here!!

My most prized item would be my autographed litho that is signed by Mick, Keef, & Charlie of a concert that never took place at Donnington maybe? I don't recall what it says now, as it's been packed away since we moved to our new house 2 years ago. Long story, but basically we're not done workin on the house and can't hang it yet (I've had it matted and framed). It

I was indeed referring to boots. I always buy the actual official cds. I'm not one who has switched over to ITunes - I love flipping thru the booklet, learnin the lyrics, seeing who played what on what and who did all the behind the scenes work. To me, that is irreplaceable.

No record shops I know will do all that though - download stuff off of the internet for you and print out all the stuff and allow you to purchase it.

Front row tickets to the Newsboys with Kutless and Newworldson. The Newsboys are my wife's favorite band, and by scoring front row seats for her, I'm now cleared to continue my obsession in the spring!!! LOL

I see that there are tracks from the Fenway shows on some of Urban Steel's posts, which leads me to believe that the recording must exist......please please please post both of these shows if they are available and recorded!! I loved Hartford with Ruby Tuesday and Get Up Stand Up.

I've always liked the song as well, just not where it is placed on the album. Really I don't think it fits in well with the sound of the rest of the alubm and could have been saved for another album or B-Side.

I've mentioned this before. I at first only had the cassette version of VL, which I wore out over time from overplaying and I had to buy the cd which had the extra track. For me, VL is a much much much stronger album ending with Thru & Thru than it is ending with Mean Disposition. I had to make up a second cd of the version I was used to just so I could be like old times

Cannot WAIT for this one!! Legendary Alternative Rock band The Cult return with all guns blazing on their eighth studio album 'Born Into This', their first in six years. Reminiscent of earlier works 'Love' and 'Electric', the album sees the band returning to their rock roots while embracing several modern sonic elements in many of the songs. With 'Born Into T
