I read that he is in Japan in a jazz fusion band of some sort. He is fairly popular in Japan. I believe he has a website.

I sent an email to Dave at the-faces.com and he said he is going to start giving reports, songs rehearsed, etc. He is in touch with Mac and Kenney, but not so much Woody.

Note that in the Jack and Coke pic, Charlie is using the black diamond pearl kit, which he used on the 1969 tour, not the black Gretsch kit he finished the 1972 tour using. Wonder what the first 1972 show was with Charlie using the black kit? He used the black kit at the Rock n Roll Circus. Who knows, maybe the truck with the black kit was delayed for that show so they had to rush out the blac
