yeah i thought it would be interesting to see which songs we all disliked...one man's trash is another man's treasure...one of my favorite songs is "Downtown Susie".. in regards to Mixed Emotions being a 'hit'...take a look at the top ten charts Sam...does being a 'hit' merit being a good song??? if that's the case i am on my way to get the new mado

this is not a stones bashing post by any means...i was just thinking of which songs by the boys that i just don't like...i've come up with 10 of them: 1. Mixed Emotions - lyrically this song could've been written by a 10 year old 2. Back to Zero - the first time i heard this i was wondering 'what the hell is this crap?" and expected the guys from Cameo to sing along

wow...eloquently put...i hate to say it but it's true... nothing i would like more than to see them get up there and put on a great show..they could do it if they wanted...maybe...but they are scared they might lose a dollar or two instead of their integrity...i guess money makes people lazy and makes them forget what it was that got them started in the first place.. i read a quote onc

what's actually going on when they put on a show is obvious...they are no longer capable of getting up there and playing songs that they wrote themselves without having some interloper guide them along like a blindman...geez...even cream could pull off 2 and half hours with just the 3 of them and ginger baker is about 70 years old...and i hate eric clapton.

in all honesty one of my favorite records is 'voodoo lounge'. i think the songs are great and the quality of ron wood's guitar work on 'the worst' & 'out of tears' is great...the solos remind me of classic period stones...when he is good he is very good and when he is bad...well...after steel wheels i was surprised that they would do an album of this quality

haha yes! and you can tell by the fine quality of every record they've released since his departure that he had absolutely nothing to do with the songs at all..

A common complaint on this site is the way that Ron Wood tackles the Mick Taylor era songs...if you think about it (and it would NEVER happen)...the rolling stones could easily pull off a great set comprised of tracks from '75-'05..only tracks Wood played on...imagine "Had it With You", "Back of My Hand" & "Crazy Mama" from the B-stage... I think this w

1. lame setlist 2. chuck levell instead of ian maclagen..the guy from sea level filling in for ian stewart ???? geez. Maybe that idiot from Primus should step in for Bill Wyman. 3. huge stageset to make up for lacklustre performances 4. guitars with hardly any distortion whatsoever 5. backup singers that would just as soon sing for mariah carey as long as there was free food.. 6. anythin
