Hey John. Have any more pics from Chicago '75? I was there as well, and would love to see any snaps you might have. Awesome concerts at the Chicago Stadium.

I was at 19 and 20/6/72, in Chicago. I would love to get a copy of any recordings from those shows. Any suggestions?

In honor of the Rolling Stones concerts in London, a collection of my 3D photos will be on display in the Old Town Hall on the Kings Road in Chelsea. The royal borough of Chelsea and the Kings Road are steeped in rock and roll history, and I can't think of a better place to show my work. I will be in attendance in the gallery, from 3 - 5 pm on August 22 and 24. I hope to see you there

It was another glorious weekend for music here in Chicago, at the annual Blues Festival in Grant Park. Here are a few snaps from last Sunday. Honeyboy Edwards still drawing the crowds at 91. He's the last living link to Robert Johnson. (How funny the Stones should pull out Love In Vain for the IOW show that same day.) James Cotton on the left, members of Howlin Wolf'

When I saw the sold-out-in-minutes show at the Fabulous Forum in LA, Ronnie said "forget about special guests. Who we have here on stage now is special enough." (Or something to that effect.)

I think, over time, the latter Stones albums will be treated with a lot more respect.

I was just wondering, as this blurb about the festival was included in an email from the website of Donovan's daughter, Astrella Celeste. "Astrella will be seen singing "Dream" by a global TV audience, as her Isle of Wight main stage performance - along with those of the Rolling Stones and many other legends - is being recorded for worldwide telecast (and airing live on B

Are there plans, by the BBC, to film and broadcast the Isle of Wight Festival, featuring the Rolling Stones?

My second Stones concert was 19 June, 1972 in Chicago. What an intense experience. Whoa! (That's me, wearing glasses, in the middle of the picture.) Photo by Marty Novak.

I met Smokey briefly at my local Dominick's supermarket, a couple of years ago. He was there making an in-store appearance touting his Soul In A Bowl line of frozen food. What a gracious and beautiful man. And, oh my goodness, those green eyes! I know I have a picture of the event around here somewhere... I can't believe I've never seen him perform live. He should open for th

Wasn't the arena designed with concert acoustics in mind? The O2 is touting itself as Europe's premiere concert venue.

The person next to me in the front row had a big clunky tape recorder. I wonder if it was the source of the Indianapolis boot? Still would like to hear it though. Photo by Teafoe.

Any decent boots from that period? Indianapolis was amazing. One of the best shows I've ever been to. White hot.

Pete and Keith pulverized their instruments when I saw the Who play a small club near Chicago in '68. Again, when I saw the band in Chicago in '71, Pete made matchsticks of his red SG after a lengthy version of Magic Bus. By then it was a rare occurance that he smashed his gear. I was really surprised. I'd be interested to see some pictures of the mayhem.

Seeing Rocket 88 there in the early 80's was a real treat. Alexis Korner, Charlie Watts, Jack Bruce, and others. Ian Stewart on the sound board. What a great night it was in the packed pub at Putney Bridge. Anyone else there? Anyone have a picture of the gig?

When I saw Leon in concert in Chicago, a week after Bangladesh, he opened with Wild Horses, solo piano - wearing a top hat. Wow. Closed the show with a rousing version of Jumpin Jack Flash. A bigger wow! Claudia Linnear, Miss Brown Sugar herself, was on vocals throughout the show. She surely could make a grown man cry, Mick included, I'm sure. Some things leave such a lasting impression,
