It is devoid of meaning, it's just an empty topic that sparks a lot of debate. You can argue about it for days on end and not say anything of meaning at all. He can growl just fine-- he's done it on Tht's How Strong... on Stray Cat Blues, and on any number of bluesy songs they've done in the past 10 years. Just because his voice isn't so high pitched anymore doesnt make it "flat." And Let it Loose-- I'm amazed people can even hear Mick in that mix well enough to judge how "great" his vocals used to be on

There is a band called "The Hymans" who did a punky, not-half-bad cover of 2000 Man, they are European by the sound of it I always thought 2000 Man should be a bit faster than the Stones did it. I have absolutely no idea who they are. And sorry for this not being in Hot Stuff.

Their "points" are expressed in a lame way, thus they have no effect, and thus writing/recording/releasing said songs was pointless. Luckily the Stones don't have an almost entire album of this, just one song.

I just love everything about the Some Girls- Emotional Rescue- Tattoo You era of the Stones! So much better than the previous threesome of album snoozers. Back when everyone was starting to gravitate dangerously close to the Motley Crue-style LA hair-metal cesspool, the Stones still had a great sound. Down in the Hole is an awesome song.

I don't see how a sitcom is any more a nail in the coffin than a solo album. It takes less time too. They are obviously gonna stop this huge world tour EVENTUALLY. What happens after doesn't mean The End of Stones Forever. Maybe it does but at this point everything is dubious. And first of all, DGA35 said already, before this thing succeeds, it has to be picked up.
