In the lyrics department, the Stones are probably the most underrated band of all the bands that get stuffed into the 'classic rock' genre, and beyond. Why, I'm not sure, but I think it has to do with Jagger never ever being taken seriously until, perhaps, the day he croaks. Edited to say that people here actually SHOULD give a monkey's @#$%& about Stones lyrics, but don

Well, maybe it's just the era of the CD talking, but these days when you see the price of CDs and what you get for it, I'd rather never see as little as 8 songs.

I know these were already posted but the disc I burned them on experienced some sort of major @#$%&-up. Please? Also, does anyone by any chance have Oakland 02?

Drift Away was a hit-- every 1,000,000 times any random artist decided to release it.

I wouldnt mind hearing SOL live. I dislike the studio version, and maybe it would come across better live. It's usually nice to hear songs that dont have an impressive studio version live, and since this is the case with SOL imo, maybe it will be an improvement live. I hope they try LMDS and LIND too, though, eventually.

There are infomercials in almost EVERY country. They just sometimes go under a different name. Back when I was living around Europe, reality television wasn't too common anywhere, US included, so no reality TV. However, there is one thing I can safely say-- many countries in Europe don't have the Maury, Sally Jessy, Jenny Jones, or Jerry Springer type shows. When I moved to North Ame

I wish fewer people cared about trivialities such as stage and lighting. Maybe we wouldn't be having a ticket price discussion every 5 minutes then.

They are a bloated overrated band, and Plant is one of the luckiest, most useless asses that has ever fronted a band. I-M-F-H-O. And I actually don't know whether they sold as many records OUTSIDE the US as they have in the US. Not every place on the planet lives for endless guitar soloing. I'm sure they sold more than the Stones everywhere, though. Why? Subtlety has never been a str

Meh. To be 'prolific' you have to continuously release good albums. And Prairie Wind isn't.
