I am from South Jersey and still thinking of going. Could someone recommend where to stay etc.. Also, would it be possible to work in the baseball hall of fame? I am convinced the best route would be a 75 minute flight then a rent a car to perhaps a comfort inn/holiday inn in Hamburg. Then maybe getting up Sunday and driving to the hall of fame and maybe coming back tobuffalo that night.

Still at the happy hour I mentioned a few threads back, watching the NCAA tournament. The selection show is kind of like the tour announcement, the first round is kind of like the Start Me Up/GetOff My Cloud IORR part of the show. The middle rounds of the tournament are like where the upsets happen. This is like the Loving Cup, out of Control, one Hit to the body portion of the show. After

They just keep going. It could be like Clapton where he just is playing 2x MSG, but they still play..

Personally, I am holding out hope for a "Sweet 16" winter arena tour in the winter. This is just me being wishful (free Happy Hour in area courtesy Dave from Dayton's sister Betty who all of the sudden I like a lot more after a few or four too many drinks) . Since this is from my MBA program, I am actually showing a business plan to several professors (some whom I had 20 years ago)

And of course, as well all now, Sympathy (my favorite track ever) uses sampled loops for the congas since 1989. But, it works really well with Charlie hitting the snare on 2 & 4 along with the high hat to complement. To me it is very interesting hearing how the sampled track has involved. I remember to my amuseument at the Vet in 2002 someone actually started the loop a few songs early! I re

QuoteDoomandGloom I wouldn't go see The Who, I think their show has strayed away from it's roots but I know dozens of people going, Same with the Grateful Dead, friends are breathlessly waiting for more shows to be announced. When I try to strike up people for The Stones as I assumed they'd play Yankee Stadium or something on The East Coast they all turned me down even when I told

It seems one travel route could be the following: Nashville Wednesday- are there still or any hotels within walking distance of the stadium? Thursday/Friday Memphis Friday Night or Saturday/ Memphis to Orlando. It seems this route could quite possibly be done without a rental car. I do remember from my days of youth in Jacksonville (1998-1999) being able to go shows at the old Orlando

They seem to be banking on the 2013 people traveling more and filling up the gap between local fans and out of town fans. I am not convinced every weekday market will sell out though. I mean- if I could make it I would certainly do my part of course.

I saw AC DC 3 times on the last tour and really enjoyed them- and thought black ice was a new album. Although I do like Phil Rudd a lot I was somewhat kidding about them being a cover band. I did see them at Giants Stadium and am skipping the show this time only because it is mid-week Rolling Freak- even though Clapton is my 4th favorite- I totally agree with the shows being not as exciting. I

I would go see Clapton personally because 1) Without Phil Rudd it is like an AC/DC cover band. 2) Without Malcon it just isnt the same 3) Seems like less opportunites to go see Clapton and I think the shows will be special

It it were PNC vs. Heinz Field looking at road trips for the Bucs it looks like 6/20 is an open Saturday and 7/1 is an open Wednesday. It almost seems like a logistical move to go from Pit to Indianapolis in 3 days

Can i have a clue as to when I should be looking on making a train reservation Amtrak from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh? Dave from Dayton claims he made the trip in 3 hours and 8 minutes which I think is BS because its 254 miles from him. Says I should hit the R&R hall of fame after. Wonder if they would play Heinz second weekend in June? Phillies are there as well.

I am hoping they would do Memphis. I was planning on going there this summer to see Sun records studio, the Stax museum, another museum and the new Blues museum as well as trying to play the Hammond/Piano at some blues open mics down there. I've never been to Pittsburgh so its defintely a good time for me to fly that day or take Amtrak the day before.

If May 12th is the approximate start date and there are 14/15 shows which would b 7 weeks, is it safe to say that the tour would end early July?

Was listening to the Stones while shoveling outside all the ice, salt and snow: Dirty Work!! I wonder, will KR do 3 songs on this tour as well? Hopefully July 4th will be spent in the parking lot at the Linc! If so I'll bring Tastykakes but last time I did that they melted

Hello I recently, subscribed to the concert streaming channel Qello that I get on my Roku. It is simlar to Netflix except it shows only concerts and documentaries. Some of these are newer, many are things I remember seeing on VHS when Tower was open. Today I watched the 78' Texas show on it. What are your thoughts? I did read different articles on the tour, the health of the band etc.. I

Could they so Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia or is a football stadium too big for this tour? Linc has tons of shows this summer already and the city is all for concerts. Read some articles this morning about how hard the city worked to get the Stones in 1989 after JFK Stadium was closed. Kenny Chesney is at the Linc July 11th. Could the Stones play at the Linc July 4th or 18th? Th

Would you then say 2 shows per week for ~ 7 weeks - perhaps 15 or 16 total?
