QuoteThe Sicilian Best boot ever IMO but I don't know how releasing it improves it. It was perfect as a boot, they should have released something that only exists in the vaults. Or a upgraded version with missing songs of a show. But in our circles, it is well known. Outsiders will be thrilled. Yeah, that's my point exactly! I hate to be such an elitiest, but of ALL the stuff t

Don't get me wrong - it's probably the most solid performance of the 81 tour - but man, as good as it is it's a letdown, kinda.

Quotehbwriter Under- I'm writing a story on Lou - he was in town to give a speech so i had some time earlier in the day - weird day - but cool - he's the most non b.s. guy on earth - i'd met him years ago under different circumstances (mens room at the apollo theater in harlem) but this was very interesting and a chance to take some nice portraits - i can post another if you are in

QuoteGazza Quotecorriecas when it will be released............... I'm honestly starting to lose interest. These 'teases' are infantile. They should just release the bloody thing or shut the f**k up about it. Oh the other hand, what was the last Stones release that generated this much hysteria????

JUST FYI - I use TOR routing software as it's designed to cloak your ID/IP in cyberspace (granted, as much as possible). The free download for the router software/browser bundle is here --> After zero successful attemps to access Nico's site, I fired up TOR and BOOM, 1st try I was in. It's not hard to use, but if you're not technically inclined you'd be doing

I thought it was more of Mick having a dig at Woody onstage (by changing the lyrics to reference his woman troubles). But any of the proposed conspiracies could go over I guess.....LIKE A LED BALLOON!!! QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteUnderAssistantWCpromoMan I haven't, and won't, buy the box set - same with Exile. I was very happy to get the bonus songs on both releases, and any new DVD material by the Stones is always welcome in my home. But...in my opinion, both sets contain fairly useless DVD offerings. Why? Why do you need a slimmed down "Stones in Exile" or the Some Girls

Quotejamesfdouglas QuoteUnderAssistantWCpromoMan Taylor did feel screwed out of songwriting credits, deservedly or not. The fact that Keith didn't play on original takes of "Sway", "Moonlight Mile" or "Time Waits For No One" might lend some weight to his opinion. I might be persuaded to agree too - but that's a personal opinion based on serveral factors.

I think it's pretty common knowledge that Taylor was "unhappy" around his mid-tenure with the Stones. I've read, not witnessed (and there is a difference), that Taylor propopsitioned Bill and Charlie to start a new band as early as the EXILE sessions. I've also read how on one occasion Keith verbally berated Taylor for playing too loud and "great onstage but usel

Keith was busted for acid, among other various & nefarious substances, after having a car wreck post-gig in 1976. Granted it's a year later - but it may be some indication Lysergia still circled the Stones camp around that time. He claimed it wasn't his, but I wouldn't either.

After parking his BMW, he enters the bar and obviously stands out among the other patrons. While he is dressed in expensive business attire, the other bikers, bums, and alcoholics are not dressed to impress and focus their complete attention on his every move. The yu

Was that remark in reference to my lukewarm comment about David Johansen's solo work? If so, the recent NYD releases don't really belong in the category of "solo work"
