I was dreading this release considering the sound quality on the streaming version of the album. Rio was good and the mix sounded better for the most part, although maybe that's my speakers compared to my headphones. the big surprise was Salt Lake City. Maybe my favorite Bigger Bang concert release? Good sound and good show, and really representative of what those arena shows felt li

Quotekovach Quotesundevil for people with tickets, locked in and ready to tour, i hope the announcement that the tour is on comes true. happy shows! but california is back to indoor mask requirements. and places with low vaccination rates have low vaccination rates for a reason. the "i ain't getting the vax" crowd is convinced the vaccine will Kill You. it ain't funny and they

QuoteMisterDDDD QuoteIrix QuoteMisterDDDD Three and a half weeks seems too soon, And the rehearsals would have to start even sooner .... Yup.. not likely at all, but it is interesting that the date he has a Stones commitment for is a Saturday. Perhaps a warm up gig after rehearsals.. fun to contemplate. Rehearsals starting Aug 9th, club gig on the 14th.. opener on 17th. They haven'

Quotecrholmstrom QuoteGlimmerGirl24 Quotestickyfingers101 I also promise you there are plenty of insurance companies that would underwrite a Stones Tour if they went out tomorrow....guaranteed. somebody underwrote Clapton and Bruce and Gn'R....there is money to be made and the insurance companies know it. it's the Stones that are waiting...and that is their right. I have no pro

I think you're right that insurance is the biggest issue, both for the band and for tour cancellation. But stadium availability: every big tour since Steel Wheels has started late summer in the US, playing football stadiums. Logistically not great, but precedent says that shouldn't be a dealbreaker, especially when shows are spread out as much as they are. I'm kind of cu

Quotefrankotero Seems odd that in 2005 they didn't use HD technology. But then again I've heard they recorded ABB on laptops or something like that. I remember Rio being streamed live when it happened. Wonder if the limits on internet speeds at the time is why it was shot in such low quality. I remember living in London at the time and watching on my laptop late at night, so glad to

QuoteTumblinDice76 If you notice, after Sept all dates are in warm climate states. This has been my theory all along. A Fall tour would need to wrap by late Sept or match what the Dead did and start the tour in Aug in the states that will be colder come late Sept/early Oct. Regardless......lets get some tour news please! I haven't seen seating charts yet, but interesting note on Ticket

Anyone do any VIP packages and get the VIP lithos? I’ve seen a few lo-res pics on eBay for MetLife and Chicago but nothing else.

Quotethecitadel Quotemcgeez8 93 XRT in Chicago just said on the morning show that the dates will be announced tomorrow. Did they say we need to get to 200 Pages on this Thread first?? If every member checks rollingstones.com to see if it works or not and keeps reporting back, we'll get there!

QuoteGaetzi Between Mick healing up and stadium logistics I'll be really surprised if this tour happens. They worked around the NFL in 2006, 2005, 2002, 1997, 1994, and 1989. No reason that can't do so again in 2019.

Quotestickyfingers101 QuoteHairball Hoping for some "HONK if you like the Stones" bumperstickers... Not that I would put it on my car, but seems they could get alot of free publicity this way. ....and more money. Probably sell 'em for $25 per bumper sticker. you should be on the Marketing Team. Not joking. I think you may be on to something... This is a pre-order expect

Quotesyrel GA is $120, though there seems to be two standard prices (not VIP packages), so maybe there is another GC price too. Pit VIP are relatively 'cheap' - $1150. Don't know normal price yet. syrel Had a PIT but lost it. They were about $500 CAD with fees.

Quotekeefriff99 My Dad was born in Brooklyn...he would bust you in the mouth if you said Brooklyn wasn't "really" NYC. Secondly, rightly or wrongly, playing Giants Stadium (or Metlife Stadium as it's garishly called now) is basically playing the NYC area. 100% correct. Those tour lithos and T-shirts won't be saying "East Rutherford"! I live in Manhatt
