good question. Initially I was tempted to say 1973, mostly due to the boots; however how can anyone forget the embarassing blue suit and eyeliner in the Silver Train promo. I'd say that the Stones as a whole were surprised by how the audiences began to listen instead of scream during the '69 tour...which probably made them better as the tour went on...(I'm not sure about the
