it is the very title of this thread "ronnie extremely focused wood" so, if it is "basically two chords" what is this fuss about magical mystery taylor and his rolling seventies stones? if that solo is two chords why praise Taylor so much true is that sway is a beautiful mick's song. period

bjornulf sure my post was more critic toward the taylorists and the wood's bashers than toward ronnie, nonetheless it seems that you received it as too much criticism against the band it is not. it is just an interpretation you were there so maybe you're right so what else can i say? everything is perfect, the sky is blue and the flowers are blooming

the fact that mick introduced ronnie this way last night proves that there is a problem and that the band knows it and also prove that they're trying to deal with it with irony and goodness, guess some fans could learn a lot from that attitude

i criticize Ronnie, i don't like the way he play these days (though Sway 01/20 was pretty good) but these threads on him are becoming pathologically obsessive and boring, i join baboon and take a nap myself

moreover, the glimmers basically stole themselves the refrain of TLT from an old traditional spiritual "The Last Time". It was recently published on "spirit of the century" of The blind boys of Alabama (there's also a cover o "just wanna see his face" on it)

i see that no one question How they play or would play songs there's an interesting remark about one who review last boston concert. he says JJF is a good opener but he'd prefer to hear the "long" version that you don't get if it is the opener. well, as much as I love JJF anyway, i am on the opposite side of the spectrum as i like better tight versions of the wh, es

lets just agree that they could play 22/23 songs (to get each one of us satisfied is hard, but impossible with 20 songs) guess this is how age comes in the picture

tt my answer to the moaner is always the same sure they could move their ass a little bit more on different songs but they never have been that way you sure know that until licks tour where they planned the 3 setlists, stones tour have always relied on fixed setlists with one or two switches the only difference from ever is that once they used to play more new album songs (1981, 1978 in parti
