I don't think this could have been an upbeat song. Johns voice in this case made it somber, there's no changing that I'd say. But I can agree it misses the mark. Again as discussed before, particularly in the case of Hackney Diamonds, maybe it's too early to form a definitive opinion.

Hi lrix. Not sure I explained it correctly. The reason I think it's the same files is because there's a lot of open space at the top of the Atmos files, while still having a full center. Seems to me that the highs would nearly touch the top and there should be some ups and downs in the center, not just solid as the picture shows. Then again if I could zoom in and out I might see it'

Hmm, I'm a little skeptical about the Atmos DR. I say that because there's software that reduces decibels from the original compressed file. Also, if you toggle the image (focus in and out) you can see those overloaded files are not completely filling up the picture. Hope I said that right. I'm not a sound engineer or rocket scientist but I do understand cutting frequencies to boos

doitywoik, I would like to say your testimony is spot on and I couldn't say it better myself. Profoundly the 2 times I've played Hackney I thought of him though I didn't know him personally. Always enjoyed his comments and felt he was honest and didn't care otherwise. It's certainly a big loss.
