I have been to shows solo and will probably go solo again. Just get out and walk around. Most everyone you'll see outside the stadium are fans doing the same thing you are. If you have an extra lucky dip just grab some fan without a ticket and get them in. They will have a great memory!

Didnt they open once with IORR at Giants Stadium in 2006? I think that was a different and unexpected start as well.

I dont really think any of them are "the worst" I think they all have their place and some material may not be as good as others. What does surprise me reading this thread is no mention of the "remix" or "deluxe" editions. Also I dont think No Security or Live Licks were comparable to Ya Ya's or Love you Live.

I just read the news update on their website. This is pasted from their official news about Adelaide selling out. "More Rolling Stones concerts in Australia, and one in New Zealand, will be announced by Frontier Touring and AEG Live in the next few weeks." Here is the link:

I was hoping I could google and find an old newspaper review. This link seems pretty accurate with most setlists; at least from what I can tell. Someone on IORR has to have saved the newspaper review. Someone please post for the rest of us. Thanks.

I was at this show and wasnt as impressed with the guests at this show as I was at the other ppv concerts. Clapton on Little Red Rooster in 89 was certainly a standout.

Lets hope this becomes a "war horse" in 2014 instead of an obscurity!

I agree with the selections but something tells me the "Wings Over America Deluxe Edition" will outsell the Brussels Affair.

I dont think they will get back together. I think they want to be remembered as they were and not the ABBA of 2014.

I have been to France a dozen times or so. I like french fries and french toast. My mother told me "if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all". Doesnt this say enough?

I think this album was released to prevent certain concerts from being pirated. Werent most of the tracks on this from concerts which were either released officially or were broadcast? Somehow I remember reading this back in the early 80's.

I wish Pink Floyd would release their BBC sessions. There is a Dark Side version complete from before the album was released.

QuoteToru A Just out of curiosity, have the Stones ever released Quadraphonic vinyls? I remember many artists released Quad LP in the early 70's. I used to listen to Santana, Chicago and many more with Sansui amplifier. I have a few Pink Floyd quad albums... Dark Side and Wish you were here. Never seen a Stones quad album but maybe some of the more serious collectors can answer.

I dont know to much about this aspect but I did notice when I listen to my MFSL albums they dont sound as "airy" as the remasters. The remasters sound like they had to add "air"(I dont know how else to describe it). Maybe one of the tech experts can explain this better.

The bootleg shirts I got outside the concerts are better quality tshirts than the official ones which are very thin. Also, I got an XL in Chicago and it is much smaller in size than the XL I got in Philly. Evolution tongue shirt from December is already fading. Longest lasting shirt was the skeleton shirt I got in 94 its still hanging in there.

Quotelatebloomer QuoteSwayStones Quotelatebloomer What a polite bunch you all are! Taking turns is certainly important, we learn it in pre-school. But, I suspect the Stones will tour where they want to, hopefully they will start in Europe. But, being a selfish, impatient American, I'll only feel a little badly if us Yanks get to cut to the front of the line. Hey Latebloomer ! Nice pos
