Other bands manage to play more tracks from their new albums when they tour, why not the Stones. Don't forget this is called the 'Bigger Bang' tour so why not expect emphasis to be placed upon songs from the actual album - at least it would contribute towards retuting the claims that they are a nostalgia act. I've commented before how many bands play a good selection of new

Classic Rock - best rock magazine around - Of course I like ALL rock music, and not just the Stones - so for me it rules. I remember listening to an interview with the old editor on virgin radio or something about a year ago, and they said the main reason that they have never featured more articles on the Stones is because, according to the demographics research they have conducted, they have

Just thought i'd let you now that the Stones have finally managed to make it on the cover of 'Classic rock ' mag, been a long time comin, it's been out about eight years to my reckoning and this is the first time. although i must admit it has two covers, the other featuring Iron Maiden. Anyhoo, there's a nice interview with Keef on the inside, go get it, best music m

At least you should thabk your lucky stars that it's beer that lands on you. you know you hate that feeling when a plastic pot lands on you and the contents are warm, you know it a pint pot of piss. can't complain though, I do it myself. Aah, the good old days of Donnigton, haven't really had a good time unless you get at least one tour shirt smelling of piss! Rock On!!!

at least it's a standing ticket, you know the Stones will go for an all seating arrangement next time they play UK, which i think sucks, I prefer the festival seating style, offers a better atmosphere

I've been thinking about this. and I think that it would be a @#$%& great idea if it happended! lets face it, bon jovi are not the capitalist money grabbers like the Stones have become over recent years, so a ticket to go and see bon jovi at wembly will not be half the price of going to a stones gig, therefore it would mean a chance to go and see the stones without having to sell a kidney

I travelled to paris to see the Stones on the Voodoo lounge tour with a mate of mine, who was a big Bon jovi fan, as they were supporting. I was telling my mate, that when we got on the coach, he was gonna be the odd one out, as it would be full of Stones fans, and was generally taking the piss out of him. anyway, when we got on the coach a Watford Gap, the majority of the bus was clearly m

andy - who wrote the killer riffs and majority of the music for Black Sabbath? Tony Iommi, he was still preent when Ozzy left and managed to still crank out some monster riffs, and if your trying to tell me that Ozzy is a better singer than Dio, then you need to get your ears cleared. The last few years, Ozzy has been an embareesment, a puppet of Uber bitch Sharon. The reunion shows in Birming

Blimey guys, relax, it's obvious he was just making a light hearted comment, and you are shitting blood like he's Satan. how old are the people on this board, that they are actually getting that upset over a flippant remark, you must all know that Bon jovi have a lot of respect for the Stones, and clearly knows that this would never happen, and here we have people about to have an an

Bollocks, lets face it Dio can sing the pants off Ozzy any day of the week, plus I got a soft spot for 'Born Again' with Gillan on vocals. come to think of it Tony Martin Wasn't bad, nor the album with Glenn Hughes on vocals. Now this is an argument I have down my local rock pub every now and again with some of my mates, but I maintain that Ozzy leaving Sabbath was a good thing!

Can someone fill me in on what the station did that was so bad to Stones fans? I used to live in Toronto, and loved listening to the station, coming from Britain, where there is no such thing as rock radio stations, I thought it ruled.

I think the Stones made a rod for their own back on the Licks tour, now every time they play, people are expecting them to play a diverse selection of material at each gig. Nearly every major rock band that tours, usually play a pretty standard set list on every date, but, just like the Stnes are doing now, chop and change the occassional tune. Everyone that is whining about the set list ju

Dudes, i bought it lunch time on monday and this is the sad bit, i've had it on repeat pretty much all day at work for the past two and a half days! Listen to any song that much and it's bound to grow on you (wither that or drive you mad) but Rough justice is great. I like it, sounds 'messy' if that makes sense, reminds me of something of 'Exile' - rocks off maybe

I'm with you Gai Gai, anyone out there that is bummed out over a guy gettin' on stage and rocking out should loosen up. My mate went to Monsters of Rock at Donnigton many years back, with Ozzy playing, and he managed to scramble on stage and he just got a big hug from Ozzy and then sent him on his way. Pretty much every concert maiden played, at least when I saw 'em, they

Just my opinion, but it looks shit! At least in Europe, when they play sports arena's most of the venues have 'festival seating, so if you wanna go stand on the pitch - you can' I'll never forget when I went to see the Stones on the Voodoo Lounge tour at Wembley Stadium. Whopped my plod out and had a little shuffle - just so I can tell my grand kids that their Grandad &#

Haven't heard the rocker yet, but listened to 'streets of Love' thinks it's OK, nothing spectactular though. but from what I've read. there's a lot more positive feedback about 'Rough Justice' Bring on the rockers, hopefully, as some have speculated, the band is testing the water with two different songs to see which makes the most positive impression,

Man, I hope they don't release a ballad as the first single. I want the most rocking balls to the wall song as the first release. I wouldn't mind 'Oh no not you again' I like it, it rocks. Leave the ballads for the second or third single - but first off - Lets ROCK!

Dudes, seems to me the reason for this edit, is that the show it was taken from is the Twikenham show from Four Flicks, and if you watch this tune from that show you will notice that Jagger is running from the side of the stage and appears a little out of breath so that he doesn't actually sing it, in fact Lisa and Bernard carry the line. Sorry if this has already been pointed out.

Just a stab in the dark, but is anyone out there going to see Styx at the Birmingham Symphony hall on Thursday, or Motley Crue at the NEC on Friday? If so look out for a dude with long hair, leather jacket and a stones T-shirt on, at the bar before the show, it would be good to meet up and chew the fat. come to think of it, there might be a few people looking like that, especially on the Fr
