gotta be Goats Head Soup for me to. I always consider it a continuation from the roll they were on with the other four albums.

As far as i'm concerned, Official web site is the biggest scam. loads of other bands - Iron Maiden, Metallica etc, have really good sites, where you can go onto the message boards, view videos and listen to sound clips, just by visiting the official site, but with the Stones site, the only way you benefit from all those things is if you pay to join the fan club - what a @#$%& con. I know eveyone here is mainly concerned with any impending club gigs, but i'm curious as to any recent or new information on any UK arena dates. quite a few posts back, one message stated that the may well announce a few arena dates for possibly September. Has there been any new info on this, or was it just pie in the sky talk? Appreciate anything anyone has to say.

After the few dates that Metallica supported the Stones in the USA, it was bandied around, that they may well play a few support slots on the European leg of the tour. Perhaps Germany. Anybody got any information or guesses aout which dates they will do this?

Just a stab in the dark, but I just got my mits on Rarities on vinyl, but as is often the case, there are no liner notes included, as with the CD version. I know a link was posted with the booklet onfo on it, but that page seems to have expired. Has anyone out there got a version they can hook me up, so I can drop the needle, when I get home from wirk, ad still read all the boklet info. Muc

I popped into my local record shop the other day and saw Bigger Bang special edition for sale, up till then I was planning on buying it, but it was 17 quid!! I thought bollocks to that, I'm not gonna lay out all that dosh for just two new songs, which they could have put out as a single, or B-sides, or maybe just have put them on the album originally. Of course I'll probably end up c

What about movies with a rock n roll element? all time classic rock movie for me is Still Crazy, about the aging rock band making a come back - absolute classic and funny as @#$%&, and of course it stars Bill Nighy, who is a big Stones nut. One of my all time favourite movies - better than Spinal Tap for my money. I also really Liked Detroit rock City, about the lads on a road trip to see K

1. David Coverdale - not the 80's screaming stuff though 2. Paul Rogers 3. Danny Bowes - From great British rock band Thunder 4. Early Rodders / Spike from the quireboys (sound exctly the same) 5. Ronnie Wood - only joking!

I liked the train of thought that the director of the new movie 'Stoned' followed at one point - stating that throughout his life, scapegoats were presented as the source of his troubled life, his family, Oldham, Mick & Keef, Pallenberg. When ultimately at the end of the day, responsibility must end with him. let us not forget that it is widely reported that he had a mean streak,

Man, for me over the years, when i'm going out, I usually reach for the old faithful of an AC/DC album - probably Highway to Hell. Really gets me in the mood to have a good time! Of course Sticky Fingers & Exile get my blood pumping as well

COOL! looks like the Crue might support the Stones on a few european dates. SWEET, I hope the tigertailz rumour wasn't a piss take, 'cus it looks like the Supports are gonna rule. now all we need is a few Acca Dacca support slots and i'll be happy.

@#$%& me, no way on gods Green earth a Tigertailz gonna support the Stones!!!! You have got to be taking the piss mate! Imagine all the bitching that would go on if they were annnounced, it was bad enough when Crue recently supported them. Personally I think it would be great if Tigertailz supported 'em, good 80's cock rock - from the Valley's!! I'm heading to London

you got Me rocking, is one of the best songs the Stones have released over the last ten years. I love it, it totally rocks. I'll be gutted if they don't play it on the european leg. Probably my favourite song off Voodoo Lounge, along with I Go Wild. it does exactly what it says - it ROCKS - and thats what I like my rock bands to do.

Just an observation, but seeing as there haven't been any reports on the Seattle show, at which motley Crue opened for the Stones - can we assume that all the moaners and bitchers about them opening for the Stones didn't even go to this show? I'd be quite interested to see how they did and what they played. Of course i'm sure they didn't blow the Stones off stage - lik

Hand on heart, the first time i heard it I must admit to feeling dissappointed. after the press conference, where jagger was telling the masses that the new album was going to be rocking and hard hitting, I really thought it was gonna be a back to raw rock n roll Then when I first heard Rough justice, i nearly shit, it totally rocked, it was raw and reminded me a lt of rocks off. When I

I find it @#$%&' hilarious that all of you are wetting your little panties over a ROCK band opening for the Stones. There's never this much fuss when a shitty pop band open for 'em. could it be that all you moaning whining girls are afraid that the guitars will be too loud? Jesus, one of the few dates that a real rock band plays and you all shit the bed. most of the people bi

I find it funny that all the righteuos members of this board are actually getting bent out of shape because a Rock band is supporting the Stones. no other support band so far this tour has stirred such a response on this site, but the Crue are getting a lot of panties in a twist - Oooh dirty rock band with loud guitars! i want nice ptreety Joss Stone wah wah wah. quit bitchin' if you d

I must admit, I wonder some times how some of the people on here can spend so much time on the internet. I just assume it's because most people have office jobs where they can get access to the internet throughout the working day, either that or when they get home they sit on their computers for hours and hours. Personally, I don't have a computer at home, and I work at a college, so

@#$%& me what a bunch of elitists we have on this board. My god, the eighties rock boom was all about FUN, having a good time and Rockin' - is that really so bad? some people take this shit too seriously man. Think it's because there are a load of old farts on this board that don't really like anything after the sixties, or at a push the seventies. Me I love all rock music

Well, I went to see the Crue, when they played Brum a few months ago, and I can tell you, although it wasn't as good as a Stones show, everyone seemed to have a hell of a time, the crowd were a lot more lively than many Stones shows I've seen. Of course they are from a different generation, and we didn't have to sell our kidney's to get tickets, but they are a rock band, li

I think Glimmer Twin has the best aproach to going to a Stones gig, much like myself. Too many people are obsesive about the Stones - especially on this board. surely the main aim of a Stones gig is to go and enjoy yourself, rock out. It shouldn't be about in-depth analysis and criticism, surely that's missing the point man. To me it's a bit sad, all this critical evaluation
