Has anyone noticed any restrictions on how many times you can join the fan club? If you join more than once using the same details, credit card, address etc will they notice and start revoking tickets like U2 did in Europe last summer. It worked for me well on the last tour - each time I joined I got pretty decent tickets but I'm not sure it will this time with (rightly) all the best ones go

Rumours the Stones would be playing Twickenham in June are not true. It was known that the dates had been booked by a band but it turns out it is the Eagles who play there on Friday June 17 with an option of a second night on the Saturday. Does that mean the Stones will be playing Wembley instead? I heard the amount of concerts taking place at Twickenham is limited because of local residents.

Stone Roses singer Ian Brown - was on holiday in Tokyo and went to see him at a venue called the Liquid Rooms. His crew invited my wife and I backstage because I think we were the only people from the UK there. Sat drinking with him and his band until the early hours. It was after he'd done some time in jail for an incident on a plane. Seemed like a really decent bloke who was totally untouc

A string of 10 tongue shaped fairy lights - I only get them out at Christmas! Spent ages looking for a set then paid far too much for them on eBay. When they I arrived from the States realised they wouldn't work in England so had to transfer the tongues to a set of UK lights - sad but true!

Can't believe it was 10 years ago - like you a night I will never ever forget and in my opinion easily the best of the London club shows. Much better than Shepherds Bush or the Astoria. The excitement of seeing the Stones in such a brilliant venue will live with me forever and the strange this is they kept the numbers down - it wasn't anywhere near as packed as other gigs I've seen

Saw the Stones 11 times on the Licks tour and I'm seeing U2 eight times on their Vertigo tour (five so far). I've been going to U2 with friends who've seen the Stones a lot and the consensus is that the Stones are really going to have to go some to rise to the challenge. Knowing how competitive Jagger is I'm confident they'll pull it off!

Hi The Joker - it was my mate John and I who met you in the Indian restaurant after the concert. It was great to chat to a Stones fanatic who had some great stories and insights - we'll definitely see you on the new tour for a beer or glass of wine!

Been meaning to post this for a while about my experiences getting tickets for several U2 dates on this tour in US and Europe as I fear some of it may apply when the Stones next hit the road as it involves presales and ticket codes. What they really cracked down on was people joining their fanclub more than once and using the same name/address/credit card to buy tickets. Basically there was a

The following appeared in my local paper tonight - The News in Portsmouth. To be honest I'd be amazed if there was any truth in it although Bowie last year. Barry Rutter Entertainment Editor THE Rolling Stones could be heading to the south coast this summer. Mick Jagger and co are strongly rumoured to be headliners at the Isle of Wight Rock Festival 2005. The veteran rockers a
