This evening, I just enjoyed a glorious cycle of Robert Palmer solo albums, are there any of you who's hearts soar while listening to: 1. Sneakin' Sally Through The Alley 2. Pressure Drop 3. Double Fun He is such an underrated songwriter and interpreter of songs and rarely do you hear him being name-checked anywhere. RP RIP SD

To allay some of your misperceptions and concerns... 1. I am not Miss U in another guise. 2. I do not watch terrestrial, cable or satellite TV or any of the lowest-common denominator visual entertainment they purvey. I did not own a TV from 1992 until last year and I now only watch DVDs on it, the TV ain't connected to an aerial or alternative feed. 3.

LUKESTER Higher vibrational frequencies are an esoteric reality and fact. Everything that exists - Humans, animals, plants, minerals and beyond all exist and operate at a vibrational frequency, some slower and some faster. The frequency of resonance is the rate the atomic, molecular structure of the "life" moves at. THE GR The Space Brother do not necessarily just create Crop

I think Aerosmith are a much maligned and under-respected band, outside of their fan basis. I saw them on the "Pump" tour in the UK and they were dazzling. It was at the Livingston Forum (Scotland), a then little used venue for major rock gigs. The main section of the venue was standing and this made for a explosive atmosphere. I had, even then, been to dozens of rock gigs and th

THIS POST IS NOT A WIND-UP OR A JOKE, BUT DEADLY SERIOUS!!!!! Crop circles still appear in the UK (predominantly Southern England), but I have never visited one directly. A company produces a "Crop Circle Annual Year Book" every year - To really blow the lid on this subject. The majority of crop circles are not hoaxes, only someone with a common sense bypass could think that such

JJF, like give the guy a break, this is a "hobbie" albeit a seriously committed one BV, but as ATIP pointed out, I am sure the guy has other priorities in his life beyond this and answering mail from all and sundry!!! SD

Thunderball, I am in the same position, sent them an e-mail but no response. Me thinks they are probably deluged with such queries!!! The most disgusting thing about it is that when I purchased the Membership on 23 May 2005, I asked them before I committed, whether the presale code I would receive would be valid for any concerts outside of the USA (i.e. in my case the UK). I was advised in

Hi You seemed to have had spectacularly good fortune with getting brilliant Stones UK tickets for this tour thus far!!!! I would be interested to know how you selected those Block A5 Row 1 presale tickets for the the 2nd Wembley gig, did you, e.g. 1. Select "Floor Seating" (Pitch) and £60.00 price. 2. Select "Floor Seating" (Pitch) and £150.00 price. 3. Select &quo

This is a question that has been looming for some time in StonesFanLand and I am pleased to have the answer (well pleased in a disheartened way)!!!! I had a rollingstones.com Membership that I did not wanna squander for a Stadium show. The "stage" - www.ticketmaster.co.uk, Friday 2 December 2005..... The mission - to hunt down great front-pitch (A or B blocks) Wembley Stadium

yYp "pitch" tickets are seats that are located on the "grass" area (covered-up for concerts), where the football (soccer) or rugby teams normally play their games. It is the area that the stands look on to.

Lest we all forget, the lowest common denominator is always most prevalent in any scenario. The majority of people just like spectacle and fun, rather than authenticity, musicianship, craft of songwriting, mystic and depth of artistry. Robbie Williams admittedly has some gifted songwriters working with him, knowing what to write to pitch to his fan-base and audience (that does not mean to say

This below, is from the RollingStones.com link: ---------------------- The "IMPORTANT NOTES" section is of particular interest to those that have (like me) purchased a RollingStones.com Platinum Membership, during the USA pre-sale phase. As some others have pointed out the whole thing is not straight-forward and I think RollingStones.com should have simplified it or be think

I just went on to Ticketba***rd.co.uk (aka Ticketmaster.co.uk) and to my astonishment managed to book two FRONT Block A2, Row 6 (!!!!!!!!!!), tickets for The Eagles at Twickenham, Uk, on Saturday 17 June 2006. In the morning nothing was available this far down on the pitch and I thought the event would be sold out by the evening. I tried a number of official ticket agents and the only front se

The French have the right idea - Revolution and intolerance against social-economic injustice!!! Why the @#$%& general citizens in virtually every other Western democracy put up with the bullshit divide and rule, elitist social-economic policies of their Governments I don't know. Capitalism and Communism are not the solutions, they are the cause of the problems. Anyone who doubts this, r

One of the sigularly most cool "looking" guitarist I have seen live on stage (and I have seen lots) is Craig Rose of the Lenny Kravitz Band. He is "cool rock star" personified and plays dazzling guitar. Dave Navarro is also up there in the same "cool rock star" firmament. Still a long way before either of them or anyone reaches James Patrick Page "rock star c
