Catfish Sorry, but my Dad is not prepared to pay the full whack for FOS seats. He is not a massive fan, has never seen them but was kinda interested with my encouragement. I will hold out for £60 tickets for him. Thanks for considering me and sorry to take so long to get back to you. SD

Catfish Thanks for the offer, I will need to discuss with my Dad. He may not be keen to pay the higher (normal) rate and that they are further back in the Block. I will be in Edinburgh late on Friday 25th afternoon. My Dad and bro live in Edinburgh. Cheers SD

This is what one gets when two prominent Western countries have leaders who actively promote deranged, irresponsible and unintelligent foreign policy. People can't cry into their soup if they knowingly open pandora's box. It is a travesty that it is always the innocent citizen's of the World who suffer (often with their lives), due to such blundering political idiocy. SD

Hi 1. Does AMEX generally seem to be able to offer FOS (A) block seats, within their allocation of tickets? 2. Has anyone bought tickets through the AMEX option, who think it is worth applying for an AMEX card, with the idea that I might have a good chance of obtaining FOS block seats? 3. Are new AMEX members allowed to buy their allocation of Stones tickets? Cheers SD

I am by no means the world's biggest G N' R fan. I love many of their songs but wasn't entirely convinced by their Wembley Stadium "Use Your Illusion" show, with the almost original line-up, was it 1991 or 1992? I was at the Saturday night concert and did not have many expectations, as it was unknown whether the band would even turn up, never mind play more than 30 mi

I am extremely saddened by the outrageous price of the UK/Europe Onstage seats. It is thoroughly unnecessary and deeply insulting to genuine fans. I think we all deserve an official explanation of justification from Michael Coel or someone of status and authority in the Stones Camp. If the Onstage seats were circa $300 (US Dollars) for the USA shows, they should only be £165.00 maximum fo

paulywaul Sorry, no offense was intended, I just had a vague memory of the messy Licks tickets debacle on the board and was just interested to know what that fracas was all about, it was certainly entertaining at the time, in a macabre kind of way!!! It was really unclear who was what in the situation. I agree with all your comments about Ticketba**ard. I have had great ticket buying succes

Hi Paulywaul I was wondering what your role is in all this, as I seem to recollect that at the time of the Licks tour in the UK, on this board there was like a heated and antagonstic relationship with you and another specific member (can't remember his handle now). It appeared that one or both of you was perhaps an "unofficial purveyor of concert tickets." SD

To anyone going to see The Eagles, on the forthcoming remaining dates of their UK tour, pleased be advised that the band is generally on the stage at 7 PM (yes!!!!) sharp. If you intend to arrive at the normal headline act start time - 8.30/9.00pm, you will miss the first part of their set. Particularly bear this in mind if you have spare tickets to sell. I came partly unstuck at Twicker

I don't have technical ears (sound trained) but I was in Block A2, Row 5,stage front and the only issue I had with the sound was the lack of punch/clarity in the drums and bass; not really worthy of serious complaint. I was in a similar location for the Stones in 2003 and thought the sound was superb for a stadium (never heard a better sound in such an environment). SD

Tickets have already been available on a presale to people who signed up for the "Live Nation" website - This site was formerly called, "GetLive.co.uk" If you join they send you advance presale links to concerts by major bands/artists, which are not usually on sale to the general public for another three days later. I have had some great tickets through them in the p

I was waitin' for someone to mention this! It is indeed a fantastic version, better than the original dare I say it!!! Is the rest of the Kiss uplugged album any good? I am not a dedicated Kiss fan but do dabble now and again; don't own anything on CD, just had all their old stuff on cassette. SD

Trivia abounds. Bianca Jagger attended several of the London peace rallies in 2003/2004. She seemed to be friends with the likes of George Galloway and walked with the main organisers at the front of the march, who I was close to on one occasion. After one march (can't remember which one - hopeless date recall), I ended-up walking close to this group to a protest near the American Emba

Obviously The GBs are not especially well known in this part of the cybersphere!!! It is extraofdinary how their critical accliam never translated into mainstream commercial success. In 2004 Lomax Records (a Beggar's Banquet label!!!!!!), reissued several of their sublime classic albums in expanded, remastered editions. The kings of contemporary melodic pop in my opinion! SD
