QuoteBig Al QuoteStoneage As I understand Keith is an American citizen and Ronnie an Irish citizen. Sir Michael, due to tax reasons, is a citizen of nowhere. Is the Grammy's an American price award or is it open to the world? It's a bit odd that they are nominated for the Brit Awards since none of them are British. But I guess that how it works in this new brave world. You’re talkin

this video was originally shared here on iorr by imthemastah a few weeks ago along with a similar video from the voodoo lounge sessions of the mixing and over dubbing of several songs then remastered video and audio was shared by blueturns2grey and stoneyroad here shortly after (check wiredallnight's above links for those) the video on youtube is the unremastered original video first

charlie watts or chuck berry and wilson pickett that is the question you only can go to one of these shows which one? for me it be berry and pickett if it was just berry or pickett i'd go with charlie but the two together is just to much to pass up (also that chuck is in a good mood with his guitar in tune and a decent band behind him) wasn't an easy desicion though

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteProfessorWolf well add it to the vault worth of footage to leak or use someday and i was really looking forward to this one why couldn't the stones just release it on there youtube channel or something for free if nobody's interested in buying it Really? Because it cost money to make it. which if they can't sell it they can't exactly make

cool i've read about a third of those and own about a dozen currently making my way slowly thru the histories by herodotus but my comfort food when it comes to books is sci-fi anything by issac asimov or arthur c. clark and the pre disney star wars novels especially the ones by timothy zahn speaking of what the stones like to read i remember mick saying he was also a fan of a

QuoteIrix QuoteProfessorWolf i'd rather they have a big well made screen so that everyone can see them and a decent sound system so that everyone can hear them But this 'big well made screen' is also used at Desert-/Power Trip as well as by Taylor Swift (Eras Tour) and maybe others (U2). The Stones should again use something 'exclusive'. well if it works for every

Quotekovach QuoteProfessorWolf Quotekovach Quotejumpingjackflash5 CD offers 16/44.1 sound, which requires careful mastering, dithering and filtering to sound right. Yes they are better in measurements than analog. Vinyl is very good analog, but it is "read-only" and deteriorates faster with playing than cassettes. Well adjusted deck with Dolby B/C/HXPRO gives a very nice sound on

one truly giant screen above the stage would be great for me they don't need much more then that just keep it simple if they try to much on a limited budget we may just end up with something like the 60th stage again i'd rather they have a big well made screen so that everyone can see them and a decent sound system so that everyone can hear them

when i saw this title i thought it would be a question about adding one more track from recent sessions not deleting and adding one from 1973 that being said maybe nobody's perfect or a finished version of dreams from the forty licks sessions to replace dreamy skies but to be honest i'd rather have dreamy skies

QuoteBeastyBurdeny QuoteWoz They should pay the lady Gaga whatever it takes to tour with them! I have a feeling I'm gonna prefer Chanel on Sweet Sounds, as much as I enjoy the original recording. Additionally, Gaga's guest appearance on Gimme Shelter was one of my least favourite renditions of the song ever. i agree with both of your points and further more i think chanel wo

Quoteblakeeik Thanks. I think it no longer makes sense to make a video and convert it to DVD rather than keep it in its least unprocessed form (mp4 or MKV). Encoding it to DVD does not improve the quality. I’m sure DVD die-hards will disagree, but I cannot remember the last time I burned a DVD (or CD, for that matter). well i agree that it worth posting an uncompressed video file as well as

Quotetreaclefingers I have good memories of this as well. I'd have to watch them in sequence to see if it's the best. Stones in Exile was good, though limited. Charlie Is My Darling is awesome. Gimme Shelter of course. I think Crossfire Hurricane ends around the Steel Wheels Tour if memory serves so the timeline with 25x5 is a good match for comparison. They really need to d
