You can always sample what you really like on YT, lots of outtakes/sessions posted there. It helps to narrow down the often many choices.

I met John Entwistle's niece in Raleigh, NC in 1995/96, sweet & pretty girl, we hit it off, she kissed me...I can't go into further details about the encoutner or circumstances of exactly where/when etc. for anonymity. I just remember thinking how cool it was to meet a family member of Rock Royalty, The Ox, aka Thunderfingers! (RIP & thanks John)

Quotewiredallnight There is nothing on this LP that is not also on VGP-130. Only the tracks are named partly differently, so you may mean it's something else, but it isn't. VGP-130 contains all circulating tracks. I compared the VGP-130 & the VD 19/20 a few months ago & just looked again to be sure, 'That's Why I Have The Blues' isn't listed on any other bo

Does anyone have this: WOODSTOCK REHEARSALS Stones Records , 1 LP It has: 'That's Why I Have The Blues'(4:25) ...it's not on any other boot/studio LP/CD. Does it go by any other title? (perhaps Sugar's Blues?) DBBoots track listing has 11 songs, 9 of which are common. However, the inside sleeve has 16 tracks including: -Untitled Jam -Untitled Blues

The main reason I stopped going to shows was Mick's voice isn't what it was pre '84. It's not fair to expect it to be velvet smooth anymore. The other reason is virtually the same set list (give or take a few) since the mid 70's. So here are tracks that (some/many) have never been played live or very rarely been played live... Flight 505 (piano intro through 1st

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteRisingStone Led Zeppelin - Houses Of The Holy It sold in tons. But the negative responses from both music journalism and general public that greeted this album are legendary. Back in the day, most of the criticisms were seemingly pointed at The Crunge, Dancing Days and D’yer Mak’er, the ‘lightweight threesome’. However, beneath the superficiality of these often daft

Regardless of a couple good songs, the couple of good songs can't save or make the album. IORR on the other hand... no where near as bad as TSMR. Metamorphosis is the absolute oddest compilation

Quoterollingrichard "Don't stop" sounds like from a band which you get on a bad weddingparty. And "Miss you" is very very overrated, in my opinion. Especially live ! @rollingrichard I gotta agree with you about "Miss You", pretty good song overall, but way, way overplayed/overrated. The best part is the bass line. I find this to be true for a lot of the big

I had a few Dead Head friends back in the late 80's/early 90's. RIP Jerry. I never really got into the Dead, but did experience 1 live show, 1990 NC. I like 12 of their songs, with Mexicali Blues being the best by far. There are a few more that are okay, but not good enough to DL/Top 12. If I wanna hear a jam band go off on psychedelic/progressive rock (or any) long tangents, Y

By '89 it was obvious that Mick's voice wasn't what it was compared to even the early 80's (their last tour at the time). Even n
