Part 1. To the "NOBODY!" and "NOBODY CARES!" legions. You know there's going to be opening acts. Now, there may be some chance in these special Plague Era circumstances they MIGHT forgo openers, as a way to shorten by an hour everyone's time spent crowded in the stadiums together. But if there are going to be opening acts as usual, I don't get why people w

Considering how his year's been, he's looking pretty damn good. A couple more months and he'll even have tour-ready hair. A suitable coiff is important for a former roosterhead like Ronnie. Look forward to seeing him in Nashville and Atlanta. Last show I saw him, DC, during the encore he cut a finger on a string. Hope he's a tiny bit more careful this time.

Woohoo! Now, who can point me to the Opening Acts thread? Think how wonderful it would be if in their final tours the band went back to showing an interest in who opens for them, and in selecting really deserving performers to give a boost to? When I was 17 I got to see Stevie Wonder as their opening act. Stevie Wonder! I'm grateful, because I really doubt I ever would have seen him

Quotekeefmick No insider info here but with 13 shows listed, I doubt many more will be added if any. Possibly 1 or 2 if at all. Agree. I noticed the 7 day gap between LA on Oct 17 and Minneapolis the 24th. Might a 2nd LA show be added on Oct 20, if Sofi stadium's available then? That's just 3 days rest from the 17th but they'd have no travel.

But nearly everybody on here is working to convince themselves, naw, they're not really saying that at all. A lot of defending against the fear of disappointment going on. I'll grant that Covid Delta is doing its best to dash a lot of hopes around the world.

The NYT keeps up a table of the states' vax levels. Of course it's tracked multiple ways. At least 1 dose, fully vaccinated, total population, Ages 12+, Ages 18+. For simplicity I watch mostly Ages 18+ Fully Vaccinated. As of July 7, 2021, using that measure, these were the vax rates in the 13 states where the 2020 tour's 14 U.S. concerts were postponed: Calif 61.5
