A RAR file is a compressed file. You first need to uncompress it, probably using a program called 'unrar', depending on the OS you are using. Probably Stuffit Expander or WinZip can also do that. - Koen.

Your Gibson is a hollow body with humbuckers, right? They sound much warmer than a telecaster. So you could try to turn down the bass on your amp, and turn up the treble, middle, presence, or whatever it is called. A Vox has more treble too, so I would use that amp, I don't know the Behringer. And turn up the volume too. However, remember the sound most comes from the person who plays it, no

I used to play in a band called "The Southern Diplomats". We wrote a lot of our own songs, but also played some covers. We broke up after leaving college. I still play some guitar (at home) and just started writing songs again. - Koen.

Coming Home is a movie about Vietnam veterans in which a couple of Stones songs are played. In once scene one of the guys injects himself with an empty needle (air in blood -> death). During this scene a Stones song is played, very intense, I believe it's Sympathy. - Koen.

These are all solo artists, and only have to motivate themselves when writing and recording. Of course they play with a band, but clearly Bob, Bruce, etc are in control (at least they should be). The Stones are a band of 4.5 egos, so that could be a limiting factor to roll out the 'next great thing'. - Koen.

It's hard to play Stones songs, and not 'act' on stage like they do. I mean if you play the intro to Start Me Up, it's impossible to do this with your guitar strapped up high like a jazz musician. No, it has to be much lower, and you have to bend your knees slightly for the best results. - Koen.
