With the ease of mobile ticketing on TM and Stub Hub, nothing wrong with doing that, particularly if you are by yourself. Also, if you're looking at either of the 2nd shows in NJ or Chicago, keep an eye on TM as soon as the stage is set up for the first show in each city. They will have the exact floor layout complete and seats may become available.

See the Tragically Hips farewell tour... They under priced the tickets and everything ended up on Stub Hub at the market rate. The Provincial govt at the time tried to implement a new scalping law solely because of that when in reality it was the promoters fault for not charging enough. The people who demanded the tickets most ended up getting them.

The Stones started to price their tickets to reflect the secondary market several years ago. They charge extremely high prices, of course the tickets don't all sell at those prices but enough do that they can flex the rest of the venue and fill it up. This is why if you go back and look at every show for the last number of years, at least in North America, they gross over $5M. If the g

I think the promoter holds back or limits what's available at any given time. TM is just the outlet they use to sell the tickets. There is no question looking at some of the stadiums on this tour that they limited entire sections at times. Personally I don't care, but I think the general public just assumes events sell out as soon as they go on sale, which we know very rarely ever

QuoteDeanGoodman QuoteJeter1984 True, I think anyone with Lucky Dip for the Chicago is going to score a ticket that was previously a VIP. Gleandale has Pit tickets for $442 lol Not really. Pit tickets are $519.25 total. Was talking about face value. Point is that it's the lowest price of any city.

Quotemakustone QuoteJeter1984 Final show in Chicago, Pit on Ronnie's side is $804 fees included right now. That's the lowest it gets. If thanks recently it reappeared because today it was not there. That price has been for a couple of days now. I do not know if I buy or wait to see if it goes down a bit more $804 with fees is the lowest I've seen Pit tickets in the big markets.

QuoteThePaleRider Did they jack up the prices on the presale? How did $119 CAN become $199 CAN? If that's the way it is...I'm out. I'll wait... Platinum flex pricing rather than the standard ticket price. This show actually appears to be selling rather well. The only tickets left will be the VIP packages which they usually end up flexing back to standard and platinum ti

Just curious, why would they offer Lucky Dip for a show that is primarily GA and has tickets that are as low as $120 to begin with?

QuoteMAF “Tickets start at $119.50 for general admission and top out at $329.50 for VIP seating.” Any information about the other ticket prices? Any information about e-tickets/print at home? I would be willing to bet that $329.50 is not the highest ticket price. Canadian addresses will receive tickets by mail in May, it also says international will call.

Lucky Dips were created to fill the building. My guess would be you won't see them for this show since the majority of the venue is GA. But who knows.

I wonder why the diamond grandstand on the left would be facing away from the stage instead of tilted towards? Isn't this layout similar to Desert Palm a couple years ago? The venue is tree-lined. They call it a natural amphitheater. Basi

The shuttle option from Orillia is your best bet. The majority of people will be driving North from Toronto rather than South West from Orillia.

You took a post literally and have made it your life for 3 days. What a sad life you must have. Also, I didn't see you with any info on this show. We were all speculating, except for the one guy who called it.

Quotenorthernale1 QuoteJeter1984 Not surprised BV wasn't able to get any info on this. The owners of the venue have never hosted anything of this magnitude and don't appear to have any connection to the Stones. In fact, they really only host one or two smaller festivals a year, with about 50k attending over 2 or 3 days. Never hosted a large single event like this since they purchased

Quotebv There were 450,000 people at SarsStock in Toronto to see The Stones and AC/DC back in 2003. There were no barriers really, you could move around, it was like a maze, so they avoided pushing. It was hot hot hot and everybody was friendly. A day for water and beer, same for this summer show in the middle of nowhere I guess. This venue only holds 70k and it appears their will be several pr

Ticketmaster lists the capacity at 71k. This makes sense as the venue talks about being able to handle 70k for large scale one off shows. VIP parking will be offered. I would highly recommend given the way in and out. No camping or tailgating. Entire venue will be cashless. Let's hope they have secure premium seating near the stage.
