Oooh, what a nice coincidence! So we can agree on Hamburg already Although I have to say I don't like the stadium (not sure what it's called at the Moment) too much. It's ok but not more. Maybe a nice intimate indoor show? For that we would have enough good venues here.

Oh yes, Hamburg would be perfect (hometown gig for me) or as in 2014 the Waldbuehne in Berlin. That one is such an awesome, beautiful venue!

Quotehenrik87 Vienna is rumoured for summer 2017. Did anyone hear about possible cities in Germany? Oh yessss, Hamburg again please! (also happy with Berlin or whatever). I am still not over that I missed them in 2014 in Berlin Waldbühne. I was online on time, sharply, picked the ticket, put it in the basket but when I wanted to pay - Gone! What a shame! Just hope next time it works out better

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing! Tomorrow I will be finally flying to London and on Friday 13th I will go to see the exhibition. Really excited!!! The David Bowie is.. exhibition which I saw in Berlin has set the bar quite high, so it will be interesting what I will get to see and hear on Friday. Our time slot is at 11.30am, hope that will be sufficient for seing all.

Glad to read that you loved the show so much. Reassures me that my last late night ebay purchase wasn't a stupid move. Yes, I also guess there won't be to many occasions anymore to be part of an Iggy live show. And in the past I have already missed too many shows from various musicians. Aaaah, where is the time travel machine when you need it?

Quotewhitem8 WOW! That will be great to see him in Germany! You'll love it! Oh yessss, pretty sure of that. Here are some pics of the location. It was a big hall used as wholesale market for food. Luckily I still got a ticket for the standing area and as I'm rather short I will surely manage to get to the front rows. Already the thought of this gets my adrenaline level rising now.

Got the album yesterday and have listened to it again & again what feels like hundreds of times. Especially the first 3 tracks Break Into Your Heart, Gardenia and American Valhalla got me hooked. And the intro to Sunday, this drums.....fantastic. Agree that the album surely has a Bowie / Berlin feel to it. As I never saw Iggy live so far, I now treated myself to a ticket for the show n

I mean, other people kept ’em but I didn’t. ‘I don’t care about guitars at all, there’s no sentiment for me in guitars. I mean it’s all b******* – each one is the same as the next one. QuoteBroomWagon Ditto; heartbroken and shocking. I saw some movie with "Heroes" in the soundtrack, does anyone recall what movie that was? Thank you. I'm not positive at this time if it was the original by Bowie or a rendition. It could have been the film Christiane F. Bowie made the soundtrack to that film and has a guest appearence which is basically his Berlin concert from

QuoteBoognish Interesting observation from Reddit: Bowie's "Lazarus" video was released FOUR DAYS before his death. If you Google Lazarus, you get "Lazarus of Bethany, also known as Saint Lazarus or Lazarus of the Four Days" https://www.reddit.com/r/DavidBowie/comments/40n35m/bowies_lazarus_video_was_released_four_days/ It makes me wonder, did Bowie end his own life?

What horrible news to wake up to - "David Bowie is dead" it screamed white on red from my computer screen. Noooooooo! Since my early teenage years he and his music were always there for me. Always a safe haven of inspiration, consolation, uplifting, whatever I just needed. I only saw him once live, 1987 Glass Spider tour right next to the wall in Berlin. A 3 day open air festival

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteDoxa Al this talk of 'this track has grown on me now' and 'give time time for it, it will grow on you'... Why is that the ratings supposed to go better as the time goes by? Like every record is like EXILE ON MAIN STREET? If the net had been available in 1986, most likely I would praised DIRTY WORK as many people here seem to praise CROSSEYED HEA

QuoteGreen Lady Well, the first month on Netflix is free and you can cancel anytime. I'm enjoying my free sample and then I'll decide whether to keep it. Surprisingly easy to set up. Hmm yes, saw that. I probably go with that trial month. Still. will there also in the future not be a way to see it outside Netflix? DVD, BlueRay? probably yt soon.
