Wow, bv just updated the order! Atlanta is now last. I hope that comes true. I would love to see the tour closer!

I assume bv has the list in the order of shows. I believe he had the order right last year a day or two before it was announced. So, using the three to four day rest rule and week break around the middle we can get close for dates.

Quotebv The list is complete now. 15 cities in two months time. Another great tour is coming up this summer! The Rolling Stones Tour 2020 Excellent. So, it will be Atlanta instead of Athens. This will be my first choice to see them if the dates work out. Nice to have Nashville and Louisville as nearby alternatives.

Where did the Athens, GA rumor come from? Was a billboard spotted there? Atlanta has always been a good market for the Stones and playing the new dome seems like a no brainer.

If Austin is the opener then I could see them going to San Diego, Vancouver and Minneapolis and down south from there. That gives San Diego a date when the Padres are away and aligns up close to when Louisville is supposed to be. I'm still waiting for Atlanta and Nashville billboards!

QuoteWelshEdge1 Quotetonyc I'm happy the "No Filter" name seems to be retired. "It's Just A Kiss Away" feels fresh and I assume guarantees at least one new song even if the rest of the setlist might stay similar. They will want to keep the No Filter tour name - they can go up the rankings of the most successful tours of all time I doubt 14 dates a year will get

After buying just a few 45s in the early 80s when I first started caring about music, I came on board as the CD format started and have stayed with it until this day. I also prefer the jewel case and will go out of my way to buy an import CD in that format if it is not available here. Long live the physical format.

In my 30 years of concerts, I was probably more outdoor vs indoor but nowadays I much prefer indoor. I have even occasionally traveled farther to see an act indoor. I used to like amphitheaters when you could actually get near the stage for a reasonable price but now only the lawn is fan friendly and it really is a turnoff. I have to travel at least three hours to see most major concerts. I

QuoteTumblinDice76 I predict same format which is fine by me. They keep the 2 unplugged songs on the small stage. So-Open with JJF or SMU or SFM. Rotate LSTNT, Out of Control, YGMR, IORR, and Bitch in the 2nd spot. Encore with GS and ICGNS. Only change may be the two most played unplugged songs-Dead Flowers and Sweet Virginia may get replaced. Just my thoughts...... I agree. Most shows ar

QuoteGazza QuoteLazarusSmith Quotekeefriff99 I thought both Saint of Me and OOC had the potential to become latter-day warhorses. Not sure why it didn't materialize. not to put too fine a point on it ... but maybe because they weren't very ... good? and people didn't like them? You obviously must have been at different shows from the ones Ive heard and attended in 1998 and 199

Quotemassmick Quotetonyc So, it seems like May to July and west to east. I'm excited Louisville and other potential southeast shows will be on the back end. The band should be firing on all cylinders by then. Maybe not exactly west to east...remember there is more than one stage setup. Heres how 2015 went: California Ohio Minnesota Texas Georgia Florida Tennessee Pennsylvania Wisconsi

Quotedaspyknows Quotetonyc QuoteGasLightStreet I spent my money last year on a few shows, including the Stones at the Superdome. I'm glad they aren't playing the 2020 Jazz Fest - it would be a nightmare. I find it extremely likely they will never play JF. Quotetonyc I really like the new song from the movie "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again". I hope it gets added to the setlist later this year. Great song. It won at the Golden Globes and is nominated for the Oscars. Do it Elton. Don't have a "Doom & Gloom" attitude about playing new songs.

Quotecyclist Really surprised to see Oakland speculation. I don't believe The Coliseum hosts concerts, which leaves the Arena, which the Stones played in 2013, with a much smaller capacity... Oakland can use a concert. They lost two sports teams in a year. I'm sure the Coliseum will accommodate.

Quotebv Just one more thing... They might announce Louisville, Vancouver, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Oakland or any other city on just a few weeks notice, a month or two, and it will be mostly sold out within a week or so. Don't give me this "they need months to sell out" thing. We are talking about The Rolling Stones, not a secondary slow selling act. Awesome post.

Bridges To Babylon wins because the best songs are better than anything on Voodoo Lounge. Yes, it has worse songs than anything on Voodoo Lounge but I will take the ups and downs over the conservative consistency of the previous album.

I read someplace Johnson used to be an usher so he put "Sweet Virginia" during the credits so they would have something good to listen to while they were cleaning the theater.
