This is business. No promoter/investor would offer the the Stones who demand a million/bandmember a contract without a warhorse-heavy setlist guaranted. If we are lucky they will throw in a few gems rarely heard before but I don´t bet on that. Crazy Mama, Lies, Just My Imagination, something like that, hardly anything from SW, VL, BTB, ABB imo. No chance for new unreleased songs, imo. They will o

This is my least liked song from glorious Undercover. I wouldn´t say it´s total crap... but somehow this is not the STones... It´s a solo song from Mick and should be on She´s The Boss. That´s were it belongs, imo. It has a catchy chorus but listening closely it turns out to be just a stupid song (like most songs from She´s The Boss).

I understand that it´s top secret WHERE they rehearse. But why is it top secret WHAT they rehearse? Not that I care too much, they´re gonna play their usual set of warhorses, just asking.

Quotekeefriff99 Bruce and E-Street's complete London 2013 performance of Born of the USA has been uploaded: Born in the USA Live in London This is a DVD that came exclusivly with the Deluxe-Edition of his album High Hopes. Compared to the original Born In The USA-album the music on this DVD sucks tremendously, he´s mostly rather shouting, yelling and screaming than singing. Sadly there

Let´s see if we can fill 500 pages til opening night based on vague statements and "insider informations". The day after opening night we all will be a lot smarter: - No new song(s) played - no new song(s) released imo, of course. They released four(!) new albums and a couple of songs in 30(!) years. These albums were subpar compared to their output til 1986. So how in the wo

I´v heard that only one concert of this new 14-CD-monster-package is a professional recording - is that really true? The Trouble-No-More-box also has only one really good stereo-live-recording, the others sound like mono-soundboards. I`ll wait for reviews to come. Have the Bootleg-series of Rolling Thunder 1975 sitting on my shelve and haven´t listened to it until today. So I am not too impatient

Regarding the record company putting on pressure on the Stones: What would that be good for? This major company has countless artists that sell way better than the Stones these days, the company won´t get in any trouble if there´s no Stones-album. The older Stones-albums plus several compilations are still selling (not big numbers each but there are many of them). And if the new album (a bubble a

Normally they don´t rehearse much, and the result is that they always needed a few shows to get the motors fully started. This time imo Mick wants especially the first night to be flawless - for obvious reasons. Fans and press people will take a very close look at him particularly. Imo, he is eager to proof that he and the band are at least as good than the last time around. I am sure that his go

To each his own... 1978 had too many SG-tracks for my taste... not my favorite album of all times... but back then it was their latest album, so the setlist is no surprise... A surprise is how many SG songs were played at the Beacon (Shattered, SG, Farawy Eyes, Just My Imagination). But they did not play Miss You at the Beacon, a very welcome dicision. A setlist without Miss You is always a winne

QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteHMS Strange how many people doesn´t seem to like it. The pictures are so GREAT! Remember Keith spitting out his cigarette - what a scene. And the music is great imo. Perhaps if it was from 1978... ...much better setlist at The Beacon 2006.

Quotesjs12 [...] This song would work in a theatre but given it isn't really working that well in an arena, I don't see how it would work in a stadium. But then somehow slipping away seems to work well... Slipping Away is a rather useless floater from Steel Wheels but at least not as boring as How Can I Stop. He might as well do Losing My Touch (a song I like better by far), the reac

How Can I Stop would put the crowd to sleep. ZZZZZZZzzzzzz....He can do any song he likes to do as long as it isn´t Thief In The Night... or even worse: Infamy. I guess he´s gonna do Happy & You Got The Silver anyway.

That´s the curse of being famous. All celebs have to deal with it. People will always be interested in private things... not always funny for famous people. But - imagine the thousands of starving journalists/writers/photographers if there was no public interest in private things concerning celebrities. Me, I can walk the streets without causing a riot. But I also do not own an island or 20 ex

There are so many, but the studio-outtakes are mostly of bad soundquality, so I just listened to them once. (I am far from knowing all that might exist) Not even the Dirty-Work-outtakes do much for me, the soundquality sucks... Genereally most "songs" (all of the outtakes, not only DW-outtakes) seem not finished and only a very few are actually good songs. I like GS with Keith on vocal

Never read anything more wrong than what they write about "Dirty Work". They must be just sitting on their ears (or maybe they are just deaf).

Quotemarianna The torso? Does that mean what's left of the band, or a nickname for Roger's gym rat upper body (or what it used to look like)? The current line-up is just a torso - no Keith, no Ox = no arms, no legs.
