An emotional song that packs some power when performed thus. She's undoubtably captured the feeling of it that's for sure. Anita Pallenberg said the Stones didn't connect with it in their Babylon performances. Perhaps they should have included it in their acoustic stripped sets from the mid 90s.

Thanks a lot gotdablouse - this set sounds great. The dime torrent is unresponsive at the moment but managed to download from mega.co.nz using the megadownloader. Be wary when installing the program - it wants to install (IMO) unecessary browsers etc. Here's an idiot's guide to using the megadownloader that worked for me anyway copy selected link to clipboard open Mega d

There are several early versions of the song floating around on bootleg. One of these more-bluesy early takes includes the line "My old lady is a lazy bitch" and refers to her "hanging around the swimming pool". In some kind of way these politically incorrect lyrics sound much more like the real Stones than Jagger's rewrite to make a comment about the UK's political

The usual tour setlist was the opener 'Jumping Jack Flash' followed by 'Live With Me' then 'Dead Flowers'. Presumably both or just JJF were performed at Leeds. For whatever reason the BBC only broadcast from DF. Was it due to time restriction, the start of the recording was damaged/corrupted or some sort of contractual legality regarding the song(s). Hopefully the fu

QuoteDeltics What's THIS all about, then? Intriguing record - here are some notes found hunting around the net. 'Sherrie's In Love' (Monogram 104), credited to 'THE ROLLING STONES (formerly The Time Tones)', is another joke 45 in the same vein as the Five Shits one. Credit on this side (only) reads, 'Arranged by Mickey Most, Andrew Loog Oldha
