Without question, for me, the version on Ya-Yas will always be the ultimate version.

Health of the band notwithstanding, I can foresee another tour in a year or two to support the anticipated follow-up album to Hackney Diamonds. Perhaps MR will be revisited during that time, if not sooner. It is also interesting to see how quickly Out Of Time seems to have been dropped from the setlist after picking up steam, but it's also understandable given the band is replacing some o

One glaring omission from this setlist is Midnight Rambler but I'm confident it will reappear at various times. I wonder too about Ghost Town - do you think this one will be retired now?

QuoteGasLightStreet I'm glad I skipped through it. Awful. Really? I myself thought she did a decent job and I enjoyed her performance, but to each their own.

Regarding the new songs, it will also be interesting to see if "Ghost Town" will remain in as heavy a rotation as previously, or if the inclusion of any of the HD tracks ultimately replace it.

Thanks for the warning, it is much appreciated. Just sorry you were made a victim and I hope karma comes around to those crooks. Don't beat yourself up, these types of things happen to all of us at some point.

Hello BV! Looking around for a Stones outlet, I joined your IORR forum when I was 37 years old (hense my handle, "stones fan 37") and now, many years later at age 58, I can honestly say that I have thoroughly enjoyed visiting this site on a nearly daily basis over these past 21 years (and counting)! The shared information and knowledge amongst all these awesome fans has been top notch,

Certainly the Stones have had plenty of decent tunes this century that the masses have often overlooked. Great idea for a compilation album! For myself I'd also add "One More Shot" and "Hate To See You Go". LIND remains my favourite of the bunch!

QuoteLeonidP An all-time classic show for sure! ... i had no clue that anyone was still alive from it. I've never read anything to confirm, but I've long thought the Kramer character on Seinfeld used some of Norton's mannerisms from Honeymooners. Yes, now that you mention it, I can certainly see some shared mannerisms between the two characters.

I believe enough time has now passed (and with sufficient time to thoroughly explore Hackney Diamonds) to tie a bow on this latest survey. Thanks to all who participated! Can someone please clarify why Germany needs a point in today's game against Canada in order to avoid the relegation game against Norway? Even without a point today, Germany's GF/GA is most likely to be superior to Latvia's (even though both Germany and Latvia would be tied with 3 points each, based on a win apiece). Is it because that Latvia defeated Germany head-to-head that L

The first time I ever heard "Little Red Riding Hood" by Sam The Sham & the Pharoahs (I was quite young), I actually thought it might be Jagger and the Stones. I've always since thought they could cover that one quite nicely.

QuoteStoneage I don't know, sf37. I don't think it will happen for a while though. René Fasel was corrupted but he was kicked out and replaced by Luc Tardif (French Canadian). Hopefully he's not corrupted yet...

Great tournament so far. I'm thinking this will be Sweden's year to win it all. Their defence has yet to suuender a goal and the team looks solid. Just out of curiosity.....when the time comes that Russia and Belarus are reinstated into these tournaments, will they be automatically placed within the top tier divisions, or will they need to start from the bottom and work their way up

Looks like a fantastic book with a comprehensive listing of their output! Thanks for the info! 480 songs before Hackney Diamonds? That count seems high to me and I would love to see what's included. Perhaps some tracks written by Jagger & Richards for other artists but never performed or released by the Stones themselves?

Mick's vocals on this song are very powerful and emotional. The track should have received an official release, IMHO.
