Don't worry Highwire, you did nothing wrong. Let's just all thank our lucky stars that Keith did not go the same way after his op (which I think may have been the point of Highwire's post) and send all our very strongest vibes for his swift recuperation to normal.

Talk Is Cheap - more consistently good than Main Offender, although that also has some some great tracks. Overall, Hate It When You Leave and Locked Away are the ones that do battle for me.

Must confess this has been my feeling all along - i.e., that they're not going to resume in any hurry unless it is 150% sure that our man is back to "normal". It's not in anyone's interest - theirs or ours - to do otherwise. Even so, they can't hold off making some kind of announcement much longer, given the tour was supposed to start next week. Some of us are han

And another thing - a fanclub code is NO surefire guarantee of a better seat. I tackled them about that repeatedly and got answers that were not only evasive but just plain STUPID!!

you might prefer to get an i-Trip. much less fiddly and you can use it other than in the car as well. i think there's one that works with the nano now (which was not the case before - annoyingly, since mine doesn't work with my nano).

yeah we are all in the same boat. i hope i'm proved wrong but however good the news on Keith's recovery (and thankfully, it looks good), how likely is it that he'll rush into resuming the tour if there's even the slightest chance that it might precipitate some kind of relapse? To risk that even worse and more tragic scenario is not worth any amount of money, which is seconda

Thanks for those photos. Charlie has always been so modest, unassuming and down to earth but those photos show how he is appreciated by Mick and, as always, by Keith in particular. And rightly so.

I am very very saddened by this "news", regardless of whether or not it heralds the official end, which is ultimately irrelevant - one way or the other, with or without world tours, the situation in which there are no more Stones as we know them is going to happen and this rumour or whatever it is simply brings home that inevitable prospect. I doubt if I could ever resist not going to

Keith very often appears to be a parody of himself. I doubt if he has an evil bone in him and agree that he's probably quite shy. At Albany, the crowd did an extended "Keith, Keith" call and he seemed genuinely touched. He also interacts with individual fans while on stage. Mick, on the other hand, doesn't do that for even a second and is generally pretty mercenary and cal
