I really like the concept of the DC poster, but agree that the execution is lacking. Chicago 2 is still my favorite.

Sweet Virginia was amazing at soldier field. Top notch stones song and had everyone singing along, didn’t get much better that night.

He did say 8/9 and 38/39 at the shows. No clue on the accuracy of those statements.

QuoteJN99 For so many of us at that show, this moment was noted as a big highlight - and it was! So great to see it, hear it, and watch them figure it out, laugh it off and get on with the show. Totally agree, it was great. For a band of that stature, it was a very human moment, the kind of which I don’t think we get to see that often from them.

Just incredible. Even though they had the two mistakes, they seemed a lot tighter than Friday. Was bummed SFM got dropped, but hard to complain about a show when you get Bitch, MM, Play With Fire, Sweet Virginia and Slipping Away!

What are the odds that Harlem shuffle (easily the worst one in my opinion) wins the “vote” due to the known rehearsals? 95%? 99%?

Chuck and Darryl were still playing last night, although they were maybe turned down in the mix a bit?

Quotejumpingjackflash5 This is awesome. No need to worry about band's performance and power. They still have it all. Amazing. It’s truly remarkable how good they sound given their age. I might cry on Tuesday night at the possibility that it could be the last time I see them.

Quotesnorton QuoteThe Sicilian It looks like some light rain moving in at the start of the show and quickly moving out by the start of the warhorse run. If a short set was to played at the end of the stage, could this be cancelled if rain is predicted? I've been wondering myself. Maybe they would just do it under the cover of the main stage instead?

QuoteHound Dog Hard to believe that a person that is a big fan of the Stones that they follow this page finds one of their songs so bad that they refer to it as a bathroom break song. Humans can be awful There are many reasons humans are awful (look around, especially in the US!), but not liking Sad Sad Sad certainly does not qualify lol

Christ almighty I will freak out if they play sweet Virginia, one of my favorite songs of all time. Only saw it once (No Security tour) and I didn’t appreciate it then at all.

Would have liked to have seen POTR in Chicago. Anyone know anything about StP or Whiskey Myers? Worth getting in early for?

What the hell is Dead Horses? I’m going to the Alpine show and was kind of hoping there wouldn’t be an opening act since it’s on a Sunday night.

Go see Dead and Co or Phil Lesh, they routinely slow songs down, sometimes painfully so. Playing too fast is a good problem to have!

Would be amazing if he was recovered enough to keep the Chicago dates and start the tour there. Late June weather is ideal.

Please god let the Chicago shows not be 9/14 and 18, those are the only damn dates that month that don’t work for me and it just seems like that’s where this is headed since the Bears open up on Thursday the 5th. Hopefully a Thursday night game would give them enough time to get the stage set up to play Saturday the 7th and the following Wednesday.

I think Ozzy Osborne rescheduled his summer tour to 2020 due to illness, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the Stones did that. Same venues, same tickets, just pushed a year. Would probably be the easiest for everyone involved at this point (except those of us who have to wait an additional year to see them!).

That Soldier Field show in 2006 was ROUGH. Mick and Keith looked absolutely miserable, but I got a whole new appreciation for Ronnie that night keeping the ship afloat.

Even if it's a minor procedure, it's still a heart procedure which I would imagine takes some relatively significant recovery time. With these dates all being stadium shows, I can't imagine these being rescheduled before 2020. No sense in rushing back and having Sir Mick have a heart attack on stage.
