QuoteRaiseTheKnife QuoteBowieStone Keith was responsible for the absolute low in stones history (the 2007 ABB tour). He gets praised for his greatest achievements too... blind admiration isn't good either. IMO the absolute low in Stones history was the American 50 & Counting-tour 2013. Both Keith and the rest of the band (Ronnie may be an exception) played better in 2007. I also must

QuoteLipsgogreen I don't want to get banned for talking about getting banned. However, I cant imagine anyone from the Stones would put any credence into anything said on any fan site. How can you?Onepostsays "greatest version ever" the next post says "worst I've ever heard". Then you have all the people who claim to be insiders. They spout on endlessly about how

if the stones do watch iorr, or say, a family member of the stones does, and reports back to dad. to you think sometimes it must be heartbreaking to read some of the comments. i never participated on this site before but i have had a look on 'tell me' for years and some of the things said about Keith between 2007 and 2012 were hideous. don't want to go into the finer points but i

Quoteeyesoftheworld I really love Take it So Hard! : ) It's such a lovely song. I wish he would do it with the Stones but I don't know the whole story. It really is a gem. singing solo stuff with the stones seems to have always been a no no. mores the pity.

Keiths guitar seems to sound louder when your actually at a show. for some reason on DVD releases it seems lower in the mix or just turned down. listening to you tube clips or the new live periscope we get to hear how loud he really is. i cant think of any other guitarist that has such instant signature opening riffs . SMU BS bitch rocks off JJF satisfaction TD SWAY the list is endless plu

its been getting louder and louder for the past 3 years and its awesome, Ronnie too. its a guitar band like it should be. Keith's guitar is the sound of the stones. beggers the question, why was it turned so low from 89' to 2012.

QuoteNaturalust Quotekeefriffhards QuoteNaturalust No doubt Keith was probably high on heroin when he wrote GS, he was in Robert Frasers apt. after all....but was the song about heroin? I seriously don't think so. At that point in his use of the drug it was a harmless warm blanket not a mad bull or any of the other dark sentiments expressed in the song. Keith talks about writing the song

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quotekeefriffhards QuoteDandelionPowderman I like the sound of TIC, including the loud drums. TIC sounds a bit more unpolished, but still lacks the rawness of TIC, imo. keith said in an interview once that when he played it to mick jagger. mick said to him the drums are too loud. before that i never noticed. since he said that i keep noticing. I meant MO sounds a bit

QuoteTeddyB1018 When I got the Let it Bleed album as a kid, a few weeks after seeing the Stones for the first time, I couldn't get last playing the introduction of Gimme Shelter. I listened the intro before allowing the needle to continue into the song maybe twenty times. Though there's some obviously stiff competition, and it might be quite my favorite song, I think Gimme Shelter is

QuoteJMARKO Quotewith sssoul QuoteGold Coast Slave Ship I seem to also recall another '78 interview where Norman Gunston asks them why they called the album Some Girls ... right, and what the title Let It Bleed was about, and Keith tells him "your face, if you'd been there!" and cracks himself up. that interview is really famous and everyone loves it but it's practica
