Quoteflacnvinyl Sounds like a fart. I think some here would take that to describe their 1986-2005 output...

Huh. Well hell. I dunno. Is it all of the choruses? I listened to the three I mentioned and I didn't notice anything different.

Quotetreaclefingers QuoteGasLightStreet QuoteDGA35 After listening to the four CD's, not including the IBC disc, I think the only song that I would need to use for burning on future compilation discs would be Ruby Tuesday. I have all of the 2002 hybrid SACD's and as everyone knows, the Ruby Tuesday from that as well as 40 Licks is missing vocals during the chorus. I just listened to

Gotta have some of the goofy moments as well, which are great: Keith's key slippage during a solo in SFTD Miami 1994 Ronnie hitting harmonics during the solo in Miss You Atlantic City 1989 with Mick looking at Keith with a WTF? face Ronnie looking completely lost during Mixed Emotions, Pittsburgh 1989 broadcast on the MTV Awards She's So Cold - Wembley, 1982 The entire

In no way whatsoever is Infamy the worst song on A BIGGER BANG. That belongs to the withering Streets Of Love, quickly followed up by Sweet Neo Con. Although I don't care for Infamy - it's complete filler - it is hilarious. There's something funny about the tune. It's not a great or even good closing track to the last studio LP by The Rolling Stones. But it could be worse.

From what I've been reading the Polar Vortex is making a return to North America next week but staying way north, not dropping way down to the mid US like it did this year (2014).

The sound of this song is interesting and unique with/for the Stones. It has some kind of circus wire sound running through it. Bizarrely it sounds as if it wants to fall apart but keeps together.

Wait. What? The Grammys may have taken a hit with rock fans after the 2014 ceremony, but if the rumors are true, the 2014 ceremony could be off to a rocking start. So even though, according to that, it's happened already, people are looking forward to it happening anyway? That's astounding that they've already done the 2014 Grammys yet... they haven't.

QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteGasLightStreet The quality of TBB is garbage compared to FOUR FLICKS! And I don't just mean picture quality on yer TV! The Rio show is excellent, both musically and visually. Austin is hard to watch, especially when we know that the guitar techs did overdubs on UMT and other songs... I did like the Rio show. It is pretty good. But I've only watched it

QuoteRollingFreak I don't know why, I just feel like they won't. Admittedly, I never thought they'd do one for Zeppelin, but it just seems like the Stones are too far removed from that honor. They are certainly deserving, but its mostly for people that are the "good boys" and people that are fit for awards. I guess I'm thinking specifically of McCartney in that respe

QuoteNaturalust QuotePalace Revolution 2000 If it was as computerized and fail safe as you suggest there would ot be much use for a sound check. yet we do it to this day. The sound check is still necessary to get the sounds and setup for each venue. It insures the gear hasn't broken since the last show, the new wiring and connections are are solid, and dials in the sound for the changes

The video/DVD does not do it justice. Months later the TV special "Making of At The MAx came out. Unfortunately they did too many film "retakes" (film overdubbing, I guess, since the music was there, the moving picture parts got screwed up) due to film running out and whatever other issues. Most of Ruby Tuesday was filmed in an empty stadium. One way to tell what's not live is how far Mick is standing away from the mic, how Keith and Ronnie act up their closeness and movements,

I think GB will beat Detroit. Atlanta should beat Carolina. It would be hilarious if Oakland beat Denver. Watch Washington beat Dallas. No reason to expect Arizona to beat Seattle. Pittsburgh should take care of Cinci. No other games matter. It's too bad all the teams have to play. Perhaps someone will invent a league where as the season progresses, if you suck, you just get eliminated f

Ronnie's playing in Start Me Up is excellent, the solo as well as the bending lines he does in the low register and the little melody walkdown at the end. I guess it's why I had difficulty believing the solo on FLASHPOINT is an overdub.
